This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Darrell Herbert and the third I have purchased from Crystal Lake/Brilliance Honda. I tried to purchase a Nissan Altima a few weeks ago at M’Lady Nissan. Th Herbert and the third I have purchased from Crystal Lake/Brilliance Honda. I tried to purchase a Nissan Altima a few weeks ago at M’Lady Nissan. The staff at M’Lady was extremely rude and pushy. My experience at Brilliance Honda was very pleasant. They gave me a good price and it was a hassle free experience. In the end I am happy the Altima did not work out because I believe the Accord is a better vehicle. In addition, Brilliance has an excellent service department. I have been using them for years for my CRV and Odyssey and they always do an excellent job. More

Max was great, I understand that they have to try to sell you all the "extras," but when I went into the financial office, he tried to sell me the warranty. I said "no" about 3 times, but he kept trying. W you all the "extras," but when I went into the financial office, he tried to sell me the warranty. I said "no" about 3 times, but he kept trying. When he finally got that I wasn't budging, the room got "very cold," and I didn't appreciate that. Other than that, it was a good experience. Also, when my accessories came in, I made an appt to have them done/put on, I got a rental, quick and easy. Besides telling the Service Dept. what was being done when I made the appt., I typed up a list AND drew a diagram on that list of where the scratch was. But when I went to pick up my car, a scratch that needed to be buffed out was still there. I was aggravated, but the service guy immediately got someone to buff it out and I was out of there in 10 minutes, so all was fine. More
Hi Last week my husband and I bought a 2012 Honda Civic from Brilliance Honda. Buying a car is my husband's most dreaded thing to do. We had a wonderful experience however at Brilliance Honda. We called a head of time to make sure the car was in stock. I found it on the internet. Max had it ready and warmed up waiting for us. We were able to immediately take it for a ride. Max did not try to get us to look at a bunch of cars we didn't want. He did try to sale all the additional things like safe guarding and remote starter but he was not pushy about it. We had a trade in. We got a very reasonable amount for the trade in. The dealer assessed the car quickly. We didn't have to wait very long. It was hassle free. I was very impressed with how quick and painless it felt buying this car at Brilliance Honda. We were not pressured so I was able to take a few minutes and think clearly on weather I was sure I wanted this vehicle or if I wanted to keep looking. Many times when I have looked for cars, the sales person never stops talking and trying to sell. It makes it difficult for me to think. Besides having a wonderful experience with Max, I was impressed with how quickly we got through the financing paperwork. And the gentleman that helped us with that part of the process was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a wonderful experience and We love our new car!! i wanted to also let you know in 2011 I was in an accident where another car hit and rolled my 2008 Honda Civic. The car landed upside down completely totaled but I was able to walk away from the accident. At that time there were very few Honda's new or used for sale. So we ended up with a 2008 Nissan Altima. I was so upset that I didn't have my Honda and longer. After less than 2 years, I had to trade in my Nissan and purchase another Honda. I will never buy anything but Honda again. I don't know if I would have walked away from that crash in any other car. I am a loyal customer for life. Thanks Honda!! Michelle Hasley More

I had visited a few dealerships, and of the sales people I met, I felt the most comfortable with Honda CR-V. Max was friendly, polite, and easygoing.
