Very unhappy experience with Brian Harris Audi I have never before bought a new car and been left with a bad taste in my mouth. During the sale, the salesman first tried to renege on an agreement, I have never before bought a new car and been left with a bad taste in my mouth. During the sale, the salesman first tried to renege on an agreement, then quoted me an inaccurate interest rate for a loan (which I discovered later when I spoke with the Finance people), never went through the car's features with me, and didn't properly prep the car. I should have walked away then. After the purchase, I have brought the car back to Service 4 times within the first month. The Sirius XM connectivity drops out in places where my wife's Honda receives good reception. Sirius XM claims their signal strength is fine and the problem is the car, and Brian Harris claims the problem is Sirius XM's. Brian Harris says the car is performing as it should, but refuses to show me the specs or the results of their tests showing that the receiver/antenna sensitivity meets their specs. In addition, the backup camera sometimes does not go on when I put the car into reverse. I took pictures on my cell phone showing the car in reverse and the backup camera off, but Brian Harris was not interested in seeing that proof. The problem is intermittent, and Brian Harris cannot reproduce the problem in their shop. They say that they need the car to misbehave in their shop, and can only do anything if they can read the computer codes. Without the computer codes, they refuse to do anything. In other words, even though I have cell phone proof that the car is misbehaving, they are unable or unwilling to do anything. I paid over $30,000 for an expensive German car with a reputation for good engineering and reliability, and so far my car does not work properly and Brian Harris is unwilling or unable to fix the problems. I tend to do a lot of research prior to making a big purchase, as I am sure many people do, but this is the first time that I have left a dealership thinking that I got an extremely fair deal (maybe even tilting my way). I did not get the typical high pressure sale. she seemed very interested in finding out about me and what I was looking for in a car. I also felt she was very honest with me which can sometimes be a hard quality to find. She made my experience of purchasing a car painless and easy and explained and handled everything in a very friendly and professional way. The funny thing was I came in to service my 2013 A6 and next day walked out with 2017 A7. From service to sales I had a great experience. More
