I recently took ownership of a new 2011 Ford Explorer and I need to bring in the car to have some accessories installed and to have them look at a minor issue I was having with the 3rd row seats. I thought it was great touch that Chester my salesperson met me and introduced me to the service department since I had not serviced my SUV there before. Peter in service was very attentive and my accessory install was very quick and he worked with me for quite a while to come to a solution for the 3rd row seat issue. I really felt he spent more time with me then I expected and he treated me as a knowledgeable customer and did not talk down to me at any point. This experience as all my others have been at Bredemann, 5 Stars! One last comment, The customer waiting area was scarry! I felt like a stepped into a Oil Change place from the 70's. I am not saying that it has to be an upscale dealership waiting room but fresh paint, new flooring a couple complementary amenities (Better coffee and maybe a cookie) and an overall comfortable look but not indoor/outdoor carpeting that looked like it hasn't been cleaned for years and a coffee set up that I would be leary of using. The TV was also out of order. You have a bit of time to think about things as you are waiting for your car to be fixed and I kept thinking as great as the people are in this service department that the owner of the dealership did not care as much about his customers. Now I gave the overall experience a 4, this was entirely due to the condition of the waiting area. With a little updating this is very easily a 5+. More
After going to the Chicago Auto Show and doing much research I had decided on a 2011 Ford Explorer. I spent an entire day going to 3 Dealerships (Bredemann, Highland Park, and Golf Mill - Stay as far research I had decided on a 2011 Ford Explorer. I spent an entire day going to 3 Dealerships (Bredemann, Highland Park, and Golf Mill - Stay as far away from Golf Mill as Possible, Horrible experience there) Bredemann and Highland Park gave me quotes that were very similar but Chester at Bredemann treated me as an educated buyer and left the Car Salesman Antics at home. He was very good to work with and did not use any of the expected Car Salesman pressure tactics. we stopped at the dealership on three separate occasions before we signed the order for my new explorer. I feel I got a fair price since he was able to match the lowest quote I had recieved to that point. I also feel they gave me a pretty fair price on my trade. Ira was better than most sales mangers but needs to reign in a bit of the pressure talk. I am looking forward to picking up my Explorer when it comes in and hope that I will be able to add more positive comments for Bredemann. I would like to add that had Chester not been such a great salesperson to deal with I probably would have gone to Highland Park because some of the policies and the general lack of updating at Bredemann would have overshadowed the performance of an average salesperson. Bredemann help yourself and just do a bit of updating. I am not expecting you to become a high end dealership. Just replace desks with something less than 30 years old. Give your customers car washes outside of service (pretty much everyone else does) Make your service area a bit more comfortable and appreciate your customers a bit more. You appear to have a great staff and a good reputation. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by letting the other aspects of a dealership turn people off. More
The rear window on my 2005 Escape imploded about 150 miles from home two days before Christmas. We called Mike from the car and explained the problem. He checked with the glass supplier and got back t miles from home two days before Christmas. We called Mike from the car and explained the problem. He checked with the glass supplier and got back to us in 30 minutes or so. He told us to come in and that he could get the rear window replaced and that he had a "loaner". The next day about 11:30 am he called and told us to pick up our car. THAT'S SERVICE. And it's not the first time! Mike Reyes and Bredemann are a great team and even though we moved to downtown Chicago we continue to go to Bredemann. More

Bredemann staff always remembers my car, my face and my name, and are always willing to share a short conversation -- just enough to let you know you are a person as well as a customer and a potential sale. I have been taking my car in for service to Bredemann Ford for almost a year now. I have to say I am always so pleased when I leave their knowing that my car has been serviced properly. My service advisor Mike Reyes always takes the time to explain everything to me, so that I understand completely what is going on. He is always honest never trying to sell me something I don't need. My car is ready when he says it will be. This kind of customer service is something that you don't see every day. I will always bring my car in for service because of the honesty and exceptional customer service. More
I bought my first car from Bredemann Ford in 1994. My husband bought his first Explorer there a few years later. We have received excellent service on all of our cars over the years and wouldn't think of husband bought his first Explorer there a few years later. We have received excellent service on all of our cars over the years and wouldn't think of buying a vehicle anywhere else. The current Explorer has over 100,000 miles on it and runs as though we bought it yesterday, thanks to Bredemann. We are confident that our cars are getting the best service available. More
My first Ford was purchased at this dealer. When the minivan was ready for trade-in, it took me 3 months to choose to switch to an Explorer. Sales staff was patient through weeks of test drives. Loved the Explorer and the great service I got from Bredeman. My only mistake was thinking that all dealers were so great. Found a pre-owned Edge at another dealer. Great deal but the service has not lived up to the standards set by Bredemann. Their Service Dept is honest, easy to talk to, respectful and helpful. I will not take my Edge anywhere else for service. Not even for an oil change. Bredemann Ford Service Dept has always given me the best service and the best value for my money. More
The reason I recently bought a Ford was purely because of the Service dept. at Bredemann Ford in Glenview. My daughter purchased a Ford Focus years ago when she was in High School- and like most Mothers I the Service dept. at Bredemann Ford in Glenview. My daughter purchased a Ford Focus years ago when she was in High School- and like most Mothers I was the one who took it in for service. Up until that time I dreaded dealing with car issues...buying, selling or servicing. My experiences with the Service Dept. at Bredemann have always been excellent! So, when it was time to get a new car I went to Bredemann and a wonderful gentleman, Gary Williamson helped me find the right car. This sservice department by far surpasses any I have gone to. I have a lot of cars but they are the best. Informative, reminding about my next visit and what would need to be done.
