I bought a used car from Brattleboro Subaru over 2 months ago. I have brought the car back for services twice and both times the Brattleboro Subaru Service Center fixed my car free of charge. I bought the car "as is" and they still honored their word of selling a safe and reliable vehicle. The combined bill for both services would have cost well over $2,000. Doug was very friendly and helpful over the phone. The Service Center got me in immediately for service both times and they provided me a shuttle service to and from work. The Service Center team is very friendly and helpful. I have never been more pleased to do business with a car dealership...the integrity of Brattleboro Subaru is amazing! More
My husband and I were traveling from Tennessee to Vermont for the holidays and while in Pennsylvania we noticed a vibration in the steering wheel. We called Brattleboro Subaru at the recommendation of a fri for the holidays and while in Pennsylvania we noticed a vibration in the steering wheel. We called Brattleboro Subaru at the recommendation of a friend and explained our problem. They scheduled an appointment for us the day of our arrival. When I brought the vehicle in, the service employee was patient, thorough, and attentive. In addition to the vibration, I asked them to check the headlight alignment, even though my local dealer said there was nothing wrong. The service was completed exactly when they said it would be. They called and gave me a thorough explanation of the problem and the solution. They also confirmed the headlights were misaligned and they corrected them. Finally, they also addressed an outstanding recall issue on the brake line that had not been done by the Knoxville Subaru dealer. We make a trip to VT every 2 years; I might even plan major service updates to coincide with our visits because I am so disappointed with my local dealer. I was 100% pleased with Brattleboro Subaru. In March, we assisted my mother with Brattleboro Subaru sales and service in the last several years, but the most recent experience was exceptional. In March, we assisted my mother with buying a used car from Billy at Brattleboro Subaru. It was an excellent experience. He was patient with her and very conscientious of her budget. Last week, she had a flat tire and discovered that she had no spare tire in the car. She called Billy for help. Even though Brattleboro Subaru cetainly was not obligated to help her with her tire, Billy, Shawn, and Luke went over and above what would be expected in this situation. They arranged to have her tire fixed which involved transporting it back and forth to Wilmington and were helpful and courteous to her. In addition, there was no charge and they are working to get her a new spare tire for her car. I so appreciate their excellent customer service. Karen Chase More
Long story short, Nate and company saved my ass. I'd purchased a '97 Impreza Outback Sport in NYC back on April 6 to give to my daughter up in Burlington, Vermont. Check Engine light flashing, car shuddering and barely moving - all very exciting. I had it towed to one establishment where it sat for many days before they threw up their hands and passed it back to me. I then had it towed to Brattleboro Subaru, which is where I should have taken it to begin with. Time was marching on and I still needed to get the car repaired, registered and up to Burlington by the 26th of April (the daughter needed the car to get to and from her new job). Some crucial parts were unavailable regionally and had to be ordered from Subaru HQ, which got them to Brattleboro on the afternoon of the 25th. Nate had gotten done everything he could get done before receiving the elusive parts and managed to get the car back together – and running beautifully, I might add – by 2:00 p.m. on the 26th, which meant we were able to make it to the Department of Motor Vehicles in Springfield prior to their 4:00 p.m. closing time to register the car. And then on up to Burlington. The daughter started work this morning and was very pleased with her "new" car. And I'm very pleased to have had the good fortune of dealing with Nate and the crew at Brattleboro Subaru. More
