Hello, my name is Douglas Lucas, and I am the Customer Relations Manager at McKinney Volkswagen. I read your review about your experience with our Service department, and I do want to apologize for the inconvenience you were put through. As one of our customers, we do want to ensure that your car’s issues are addressed, and addressed properly. As a Volkswagen service department, we can provide basic service on any make vehicle (oil changes, tire rotations, etc). But, when parts are required that can impact the warranty of a vehicle, we sublet the work out to an authorized service department for that particular brand. That protects the owner, or potential owner if it is one of our in-stock pre-owned vehicles, down the road. In this instance, we will be happy to receive the car, send it to our company’s Audi store to have the appropriate work completed, and bring it back to our location so you may pick it up directly from us. We can schedule a day/time to receive your car at your convenience. I can connect you with Dmitriy Finkler, our Service Drive Manager, to set that up. We do always recommend using an authorized service center for one’s particular vehicle make so that the work is performed by technicians certified in that particular brand. And we do have within our auto group the highest rated Audi dealership in the state of Texas, Boardwalk Audi, only a short drive from our store. We will speak with our call center operators to let them know about this clarification, so they can ensure our customers are treated as our customers. Again, on behalf of our management team, I do apologize for your inconvenience, and I do thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact me at your convenience, so we may proceed to address that engine light on your Audi.
