Took day off to drop my car in (Advisor Eddie Johnson) failed call and failed to review car historyfor open recal, failed to notifyme of status, and failed to schedule for recall fix. Costing me two days failed call and failed to review car historyfor open recal, failed to notifyme of status, and failed to schedule for recall fix. Costing me two days off work. Never got a call back. I called several times. Eventually reached Eddie who indicated that system went down. I clarified if he was aware that my number was written down on the physical chart, he said yes, and clarified a call should have been made. I had took another day off as they finally looked at the car on the second day. Inspection revealed airbag sensor issues which means would not deploy in event of accident. Cause is faulty equipment by hyundai, Eddie reported that car was not kept, causing unnecessary hurdles to submit claim to hyundai. I had to bring in proof of maintenance to car. Eventually the claims rap experienced my frustration with lack of communication by Eddie Johnson. I would not recommend Eddie Johnson as an adviser. I don't know if it was a language barrier, I do speak Spanish, or he has a rude demeanor and delivery when he speaks. To some degree I question if I should use, or recommend Brandon Hyundai or a hyundai vehicle. On the positive side the director Joe K. seems a little more understanding. Maybe I am naive but when a person has an appointment for an oil change, it should not be 3 hours. Plus, when you make the appointment online, the customer needs to specify what the appointment is for. So wh an oil change, it should not be 3 hours. So when I got there, no one had me check in but a representative proceeds to call my husband who isn't at the dealership and asks "why do we have your car here?" Thankfully we no longer have anymore courtesy oil changes. We will be using another service that values their customers and their customers time. More
