I went in for an oil change and because my tire pressure light was on. When i arrived they greeted me right away and took my car. After 30 mins they provided me a summary of my tires where one had a nail in light was on. When i arrived they greeted me right away and took my car. After 30 mins they provided me a summary of my tires where one had a nail in it. The advisor didn’t come and talk to me until 30 mins after that. So at this point I’ve been there for an hour for an oil change and now a patch in my tire. I asked if i could have the tire replaced instead of patched but they said no. I just bought the car from Brandon Honda earlier in the year and this is my second oil change. I had a warranty for the tire and a free oil change. So the advisor told me the approval places opens in 20 mins and asked if i wanted to wait. I said yes because i needed the patch as i couldn’t drive the car with a nail in it. Another hour and a half passes and i hear nothing. I went to the advisor and they said they haven’t heard about the approval. I said well did you patch my tire bc I’ll just pay for it bc i can’t sit here all day. He said no it’s no policy then got a manager. The manager said they can’t do it. I said why? I would pay for it. They said it’s our policy even though i was willing to pay for it even though it was covered under my warranty. I asked, did you call them. The advisor said no. The manager Mack was no help and didn’t try to come up with solutions for this problem. Again i said i would pay for it so the manager said ok authorize it.. then they did and another half hour passed still no approval but they didn’t charge me for what was clearly in my warranty. I shouldn’t have had to sit there for three and half hours for an oil change and a patch. To not do the work or give me options bc of some approval when it’s clear that i ahve a warranty as i just bought the car there less than a year ago. I wish the manager would have been more helpful with options but instead just asked that i don’t give a bad review. There were a lot of misses here. More
