I just bought my 2nd Honda from this dealership and I am very pleased with how the whole process went. Eddie spent extra time making sure I understood new safety features and how to use them. We discovered the auto lane correction feature was not working during test drive. He mentioned getting one of th safety features and how to use them. We discovered the auto lane correction feature was not working during test drive. Even after I signed he arranged for me to come pick and assured me they would figure out how to fix it at no cost to me. Thankful and blessed to have had his help! More

I’ve been to Brandon Honda twice now, and I don’t plan on ever going back. I will drive to Lakeland before I give them any more of my business. My first experience there was that I took my van in for a ever going back. I will drive to Lakeland before I give them any more of my business. My first experience there was that I took my van in for a simple oil change. I dropped it off and the advisor told me to go sit in the lobby and he would come get me. Since they have express service, I figured it would take under an hour. I was waiting for my vehicle for almost 2 hours. I never heard anything more from the advisor until he called me (while I was still sitting in the lobby) to let me know my van was ready. When I went to check out, the advisor said “when people just run off…”. I reminded him that he told me to go sit in the lobby and that he’d come get me. After leaving the dealership, I noticed that my car was much louder on takeoff than it was prior to taking it in. At first I contributed this to the new oil. However, after a couple of days it was still making the loud noise on takeoff, so I open my hood to investigate and see if anything was amiss. As soon as I opened my hood, I noticed that the cover to the engine air filter was completely unhooked and just sitting loose. I also noticed while I was under the hood that my engine coolant level was below the minimum mark in the overflow reservoir, even though on the 21 point inspection coolant section was marked as green/good. I also noticed on my receipt that it is stated that I declined services. I was never recommended these services, since no one ever spoke to me after I drop my vehicle off. I also never received any of the survey links that I typically receive after a Honda service so that I could share this information. No one ever reached out after the fact to see how my service was, and I honestly feel like they were treating me more like I was a burden to them than a valued customer. I am not yet sure if I will be returning to this dealership for my vehicle maintenance. To say I’m very unhappy with how my experience went is an understatement. Being new to the area, we rely on trusted dealerships to continue to take care of our vehicles, and I trusted Brandon Honda and feel like I did so erroneously. Most recently, I went in to get new wiper inserts. Imagine my shock and surprise when the inserts that I have been paying under $8 each for the entire time I’ve owned my vehicle were almost $17! That is almost a 100% markup. Upon doing some Internet research, I can get those exact same wiper inserts in Lakeland for the same price that I have been paying for my last five years of owning my vehicle. I believe that Brandon Honda knows that they have a niche market here in the Tampa Bay area, and so they are able to do whatever they want and charge however much they want to their customers with no repercussions. Well, I am absolutely certain that the loss of one customer is not going to hurt them whatsoever, I absolutely do not recommend using this dealership if you can avoid it. More
