I have been working with J.R. Disbrow for over 12 years in your service department. He is always professional and a pleasure to work with, if there is a question that he doesn't know, he will find someone in your service department. I realize that when it come to servicing my Honda, I have many choices, one within minutes from my job, however I do drive 45 minutes from my home to Brandon Honda because of the service and the job is done right the first time. I’ve known J.R. Disbrow since 2003 when we bought our first Honda vehicle. We were very satisfied at that time and are still very fortunate to have him as a service representative. I bought a Honda for my daughter's first car and tested several models before settling on the Odyssey for personal use. The product is excellent but what I also bought was the service. JR has made owning my 2000 Honda Odyssey stressless and a real pleasure. I am a disabled vet and my van is modified to carry my wheelchair. Mr. Disbrow has gone above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle is serviced as recommended but also takes into consideration the modifications to it's use. My vehicle is "my legs" and I have found in JR a partner who thoroughly checks for hints of problems to avoid damage, downtime and major expense down the line. JR's knowledge of Honda products is phenomenal. I tow my van behind my RV. JR researched the best way to protect my vehicle while towing which has extended the life of my vehicle while making my trips safe and uneventfful due to vehicle problems. Should any trouble arise, JR has assisted me by discussing any vehicle service issues with Honda Service Departments as far away as Yellowstone National, Tucson Az, and Mount Rushmore. JR's "can do" attitude shows when life happens while here in town. In the case of accidental damage, his calm and reassuring voice makes a bad situation more palatable. He smoothes the way with the insurance companies and outside vendors and is quick to consider the customer's comfort and needs during the time it takes to complete repairs. In short, JR Disbrow sets the bar high for service representatives. Honda service is all good but JR is the reason why I drive past 2 other dealerships closer to my home to reach Brandon Honda. More

I have owned 3 Honda vehicles and through the years my service at Brandon Honda has been great. JR Drisbow has been the glue that has kept us together. We have three rambunctious little girls who are sometimes inpatient. JR has expedited service and helped "babysit" when necessary while waiting for repairs or pick-up. JR has advised when a repair was necessary and when a new car was the answer. We will continue to be loyal customers at Brandon-Honda not only because of your quality vehicles but also because of the quality customer service that we have come to expect due to JR Drisbow. More
I've been coming to Brandon Honda now for 10 years (I have a 1998 Civic with 221K miles). All the Service Specialists are just wonderful, however, Jr. Disbrow stands out just a little more for me. I recall one problem I had a few years ago where I had to bring my car in a few times for a noise it was making after some belts were changed out. On the third visit, I worked with Jr. He came out and listened to the car with me and when I picked up the car it was no longer making the noise. She was purring like a Honda again! I have been a loyal customer of Brandon Honda's for about 10 years now. JR Disbrow has been my service advisor the entire 10 years. I would never take my vehicles to anyone else. I completely trust him and his advisements on necessary services. JR would never steer you wrong nor recommend unnecessary services just to make money. JR takes phenomenal care of me as a client. I consider him my personal friend; I believe most of his clients feel the same way. I know that I can (and have) call(ed) him at any time when and if something comes up with my Accord. I've lived in Brandon for almost 9 years. When I first got here, I shopped around for good auto service but was never happy with it at the various shops I tried. Never a fan of dealer service or chains, I restricted my search to locally owned onesie shops. I finally found one that took care of my car for years and gave good value for the money. That shop became the standard for me. However, shortly after I bought a used Honda from a private party, my auto shop stopped servicing anything but European cars. I had to find another place. I don't recall how I ended up at Brandon Honda given my dislike of dealer service, but I met J.R. on my first visit. I like him because he's never pushy about service and he always makes me feel like I'm one of his top priorities. He even worked with the dealership and Honda corporate to resolve a warranty issue that saved us quite a bit. These are the reasons I've worked exclusively with him over the last 7 years when it comes to service. Hope you can hang onto him. If he leaves, I'll be searching again. More

I had spoken with JR prior to the purchase of my van - not even a customer yet - and he helped answer my questions and concerns. He is always gracious with his time and truly cares / wants to make your experience at their dealership pleasant and resolve your vehicle's concerns. Brandon Honda itself I prefer over the other local Honda dealerships as well. My most unfavorable experience was at a Tampa Honda dealership who function on the hard sell / guilt / make a decision in the moment tactic. I left and took my business elsewhere. In a pinch as they are much closer to home, I used the service dept at this same Tampa dealership and they were very dishonest with me and my vehicle stating that I needed a $400 part which I in fact did not when examined by the mechanics at Brandon Honda. This furthered my disappointment and increased my confidence level with the staff at Brandon Honda. The other dealership is minutes down the road from my home. I drive 30+ minutes to get to Brandon Honda but it is so worth the drive. The staff at Brandon Honda, especially JR Disbrow, are always friendly, knowledgeable and honest. What better place for a Honda than those who know the vehicles best(: More
