Absolutely the most shadiest dealership I’ve ever worked with! I wouldn’t even give them a 1 ⭐️ We purchased our vehicle on 06/25/22. Dustin was the salesman. When we got there I said I’m not paying for extra fees like the Dot Trak and interior and exterior protection and extended warranty. Dustin said well those are already on the truck and we can not change that. I proceeded to tell him no you have the truck advertised for this amount and we drove over 2 hours and if that’s already on the truck then it should be included in your advertised price! Once we get into finance with Jeff Hammond he put down the sales contract and I’m assuming he didn’t think I would notice almost $4000 in extra fees. I told him to take them off. He said okay that’s no problem he turned around and typed up a new sales order and said okay that saved you $20 a month on your payment. I told him I still didn’t feel like something added up right due to the amount financed vs payment. He assured me everything was correct and I stressed the importance of charging me the correct sales tax for WV since we were out of state. He reiterated that he only charged for WV and I would not be required to pay extra when going to the DMV. That they would mail us a check to take with us. I called Toyota and our trade in still hasn’t been paid and I have a payment due next week! They also knew I lived out of state and was not supposed to be charged OH sales tax but after getting home I realized they charged me for WV and OH which is against the law! Then after further looking through all the paperwork I noticed none the the numbers match. The total price for the vehicle is different on my sales contract and what they put on the DMV forms etc.. Against against the law! I called to tell them they needed to redo this loan because I was not stupid and I knew they were doing some shady stuff. After I called them out for the tax fraud they came back to the phone to only tell me that they will send $2,000 to the bank and have them apply to the principal. I told them no that was roughly $40 more a month on my payment that I was still required to pay over the length of the loan. Ben told me our loan has already been funded and they couldn’t redo anything. I asked for the phone number to the bank since I hadn’t received anything from them yet. He gives me a bogus phone number. So after researching I found the right bank. They couldn’t find our loan. Then they call consumer credit and found that our loan was sent back to the dealership yesterday 7/7/22 because the dealership didn’t pay their VSI and dealership fees when sending our loan in and yes our loan had not been funded. Ben lied of course! I call back and he was not available I’m assuming avoiding me! I talked to Noah and after me calling him 3 times a GM reached out to me and he said you are telling me a different story than what was relayed to me! So it’s noon the next day and not a word from anyone! By far my worst experience with purchasing a vehicle. I have filed a complaint with attorney general’s office and have spoke to an attorney! More
