In December 2011 we purchased a used 2010 vehicle and the dealer KNOWINGLY sold the vehicle with a malfunctioning part that costs $800 to replace, not including labor. The salesman admitted that the dealersh dealer KNOWINGLY sold the vehicle with a malfunctioning part that costs $800 to replace, not including labor. The salesman admitted that the dealership was aware of the broken part and still sold the vehicle without informing potential buyers. We only owned the vehicle for 24 days when we reported the problem and the salesman told us "no problem, bring it in, I'll make it right." After bringing in the vehicle, the salesman was not at the dealership nor did he inform anyone of the issue and we were treated with a dismissive attitude. After calling the salesman back when he was at the dealership, not only did he admit they were aware of the malfunctioning part, his final offer after much discussion was to split the cost of the repair. Dishonest, unethical and beyond frustrated. More

They tol I purchased a used car in March of this year (a 2003 Taurus). it had a hole in the exhaust and was making a rattle whenever you started it. They told me the rattle was just a heat shield so no big deal. they did reduce the cost for the exhaust. i paid $5000 out the door. 2 months latter the Transmission failed. they said since the car was so new they gave me a discount. A ford rebuilt (with 3 year warranted) installed for $2800. Within a week the check engine light came on. I tried to take it in but they said its because they put in a new Trans and it will go off. A month latter it started to surge. I took it in and they told me it was the O2 sensors. Ok i pay out $400. 2 days latter the check engine light comes on. They have my car a week! then say the oops it was the MAF. my wife asked them did we really need the 02 sensor? they said probably not. ok they change the MAF (no charge). within a week the check engine light is on. They said it was bad gas and clear it. We didn't even make it home before the check engine light comes on (we live 20 miles away) so we just take it back. They had it 2 weeks! they claim it was actually the Fuel injectors (after roughly 2 weeks) also they messed up putting in the fuel injectors and it blew out the MAF and the injectors. so they had to replace both again! we pick it up. within 3 days teh check engine light comes on yet again. This time they say its the wire to the MAF and they fix it (after 2 weeks). we just pick it up (btw this is around 12/13/20011) we get home and drive to rockford for my daughters gymnastics and it comes on YET AGAIN! i take it in and they call me saying its the o2 sensor then he changed it really fast saying its running lean so its a hole in the exhuast or the spark plugs! When i purchased the car i knew the hole in the exhaust and it never gave a code. I suspect them screwing up with the fuel injectors messed up the spark plugs. I think the company KNEW it had a faulty transmission. i also think they are done trying to fix a lemon they sold. I spent $5k on the car,$2600 on the transmission and $400 on the 02 sensors. I am disability and don't have the money to spend on a expensive vehicle. to get screwed by them really hurts at this time of year. I will say the sales people are GREAT! Dave rebey (think i messed up his name) has sold me and my family a few vehicles. All up to this one is great! So in short the sales team is great but don't trust the vehicle and DO NOT have them repair anything! EVER! not even a headlight! More
