The mechanic that worked on my car was very rude to me before I even got to say hello. He wouldn't answer any of my questions about what he did to my car and made me feel very uncomfortable and as though before I even got to say hello. Although the issue was resolved it was not necessary for him to talk down on me. I would not reccommend this to anyone. More

I had been looking over the past 6 months at smaller sized SUV's to trade. I guess I realized that morning that that would be the day I needed to buy a new car. I always trust Al's opinion and suggestions on repairs and cars. I bought my Mustang from Don 5 years ago and returned to Don to buy my new car. He was awesome in helping me find what was right for me. I already knew I wanted an Escape and to my surprise bought a 2012 Ford Escape. Becky and David were great in helping me get the Sync set-up. The Financial Guy (I don't remember his name) was very patient and worked out a great warranty package for me. To my surprise, I ended up with 0% interest through Ford Motor Credit, as I had with the Mustang! I'm glad I stayed with Bowditch so I can continue going to a service department that I trust! More
I visited Bowditch to replace my 2000 F150 XLT with a 2011 model. I made Bowditch my first stop because of the pleasant experience I had with them back in 2000. Other than a few new faces, I was happy to find that nothing had much changed. Bowditch Ford still has that small town dealership atmosphere. I did most of my homework on the Bowditch web site, so I had narrowed my choice to one of two 2011 F150 XLTs before visiting the dealership. David Truman promptly met my wife and I at the vehicles. David had a vast knowledge of the F150 line, and he did a great job of comparing and contrasting the two vehicles—in a language my wife and I could understand. We ended up choosing the XLT with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. The staff at Bowditch was friendly and professional. No hard sales tactics were employed. David Truman and sales manager Dennis Cossins were honest and upfront throughout the process. I hadn’t even considered trading in my 2000 F150, but Bowditch made such a good offer I changed my mind. Overall, I would rate the experience at Bowditch Ford at 5 out of 5, but I would rate the price 4.5 out of 5. Let’s face it, there is no such thing as a great price on a new vehicle unless it’s free. I plan on being back at Bowditch Ford in 2021 to buy a new F150. More

I have given the dealer and sales staff the highest rating because of a demonstrated standard of excellence at every level. It was obvious from the beginning Ryan and the sales team wanted our business and desired to determine our needs and what it would take for us to purchase a new vehicle.Because it took us two days to make our final decision we were assisted by Walter Holmes, who was always helpful and demonstrated first rated customer service skills. We also received exceptional service from Casey and Dennis Cousins. They worked effectively to ensure our requirements were met. We were completely satisfied by our experience and would highly recommend Bowditch Ford to anyone looking for a new or used car. More
My wife and I went to Bowditch Ford in search of a good dependable car for her daughter and we were looking to spend around 3000. We test drove a 2003 ford Taurus and loved it, it was clean and well maintained and we went in to start the long process of purchasing this car. Well come to find out we test drove the wrong car for the price and Jeff apoligized for the mix up and we went out and test drove the 96 Taurus and it was ok but not like the 2003, we brought the car home over night and opted the next day to purchase the 2003 despite it being a little more than what we wanted to spend. Jeff and Casey were awesome to work with and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and offered any advice they had. We believe we made a well informed decision and to top that off the daugther loved the car. Every good story has a happy ending, right? More
I have been living in the Hampton roads area for two years and I was having my vehicle serviced at another dealership. I chose my previous dealership initially due to its convenient location and initial years and I was having my vehicle serviced at another dealership. I chose my previous dealership initially due to its convenient location and initially the service was fairly good. My vehicle is still under warranty and had some issues so I took it in for repair. After a month the same issue reoccurred. I took it back in and was told that there were upgraded parts, same problem as before, yada, yada, yada; we'll call you when we find out more. Three months and two trips to that dealership later I went to Bowditch. My patience gone I initially wasn’t hopeful. I had some issues making an appointment by phone, (bummer) so I booked an appointment on their web site and received confirmation via email (the best way to go). The service manager Al when I met him was great from the start. He along with the mechanic (Steve) actually take the time to explain what is going on, where it’s happening and why, right along with what they need to do in order to fix it. No fluff. A nice comfortable waiting room, they even stop in and give time updates if you’re waiting. Today I took my car back for the same problem again. They called Ford, to figure out how to fix it for good. I will definitely continue to be a patron of Bowditch Ford. More
