After my local dealer wouldn't take my extended warranty I bring it here. They were shocked my local GMC dealer in Brookfield wouldn't take my warranty. They worked with the extended warranty company and it I bring it here. They were shocked my local GMC dealer in Brookfield wouldn't take my warranty. They worked with the extended warranty company and it was an excellent experience. I will be switching to them for all my services and purchases going forward. Keep up the good work. More
I have only experienced horrible customer service from this service department. In May 2024 I took my vehicle in because the hatch button wasn't working. I had them order the part and was told it would be in in about 1 week. I called 2 weeks later asking for a status of the part and was told they didn't have it yet. I had to initiate several more calls over the next couple of months asking for the status. The last time I called, I was told they had no record of me being in there or any part being ordered. I asked to be transferred back to the women at the service desk, who was the only person that gave me information, and she was able to find me right away. She then put me on hold and talked to the manager to get me an answer. I was then informed the part was on backorder. At least I knew some sort of status. I then called another dealership as I had no faith I was being told the truth. They looked up the part right away and confirmed it was on backorder but also gave me the date it was expected, which was the end of September. I called this dealership in October to get it scheduled for service to replace the part. Upon them getting ready to service the vehicle, they discovered the hatch button was now working and asked how I wanted to proceed. I told them to hold off on service and I would see how long it lasted. A couple of months later, it stopped working again so I made another appointment last week, Feb. 2025, to have them replace it confirming they still had the part. The appointment was scheduled for noon, which would allow me enough time to pick it up in the afternoon as I had an evening appointment. Hearing nothing all day, I called at 3 pm to ask for the status and was told they just took it back to work on it and would need 1 - 1.5 hours to finish the work. I received a text from a generic number at 4:30 pm that it was ready to be picked up. That didn't work for me as I was already headed to my appointment and wouldn't be able to make it back to the dealership before they closed. I had to get another ride to the dealership early the next morning as my husband was on his way to work so I could pick it up and get to work on time. I arrived shortly after 7 am as the website stated the service dept. opened at 7 am. They asked what vehicle I was picking up and then had me sit in the waiting area. At 7:10 I texted my husband that I was sitting but they didn't tell me why and I kept watching for my vehicle to be pulled into the service bay to be picked up as no one else was in the dealership. At 7:15 my husband came into the service area asking what was going as we had been waiting 15 minutes to pick up my vehicle. I was then told the wait was because the cashier wasn't in yet. I was now really mad and told them to get my keys and they can take my card information but I was leaving with my vehicle. It wasn't my fault their cashier wasn't in and we both had to get to work. My husband was now late getting to work since he waited for knowing I wasn't getting good service. All of a sudden they rushed to try to figure out a way to resolve the issue and saw the cashier getting coffee at the station. I was told they would help so I could be on my way. The cashier took her sweet time getting her coffee and slowly walking to her desk to collect payment. I barely made it to work in time. I will never go back to that dealership. I will drive out of my way to go somewhere where customer service is important. I have told everyone I know about my horrible experience and that I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I was visiting my daughter after my Buick stalled on I 295. The service manager worked me into a full schedule and did a full check of the computer, ignition, and fuel systems. I highly recommend Boucher GMC, everyone I spoke to or messaged with was very polite and professional.
