Bought a used vehicle and worked with Salesman Adam Hutson. Adam was a relatively new salesman but did an outstanding job throughout the whole process. I test drove the vehicle and everything seemed fi Hutson. Adam was a relatively new salesman but did an outstanding job throughout the whole process. I test drove the vehicle and everything seemed fine. I noticed it was missing a fender flare and asked them to repair and they agreed. They showed me the 72 pt inspection report and carfax. Nothing of consequence. 1 day after i drove the vehicle home the engine light came on and went off by the end of the day. I reported that to the dealer and they said they would look at it when i brought it in for the body work. I had to bring the vehicle in several times for the body work because the body shop either couldn't get to it and i needed my car or they forgot to order all the parts required for the repair. One occasion when i picked it up before the repair was done the engine light was on when i left the vehicle. The salesman said he noticed and that they would look at it when i brought it back in. Once i did it took the service shop over a week to find out what the codes told me in 10 minutes before i brought it in. Apparently their diagnostic tool didnt work with Chrysler vehicles and they had to schedule with another vehicle. According to them, results were that the PC COntroller (car's internal computer) needed to be replaced, evaporation lines needed replaced, and it needed all new piston coils. Totaled $1100. THis was NOT covered in their Powertrain warranty and they only agreed to pay 50%. Jerry went to Kim Borcherding and this was all she authorized. Keep in mind that i had only driven the car 3 days at this point after purchase. They denied knowing or that they should have known of these problems before selling. While the salesman backed me 100%, Jerry Barnhart (Sales Manager) belittled my argument and said i should feel lucky they offer 50%. I had my own mechanic look at the car and quoted total repair at around $300 max. I had to fight them to agree to pay 50% of repair cost done by my mechanic even though it would save both of us a lot of money. Obviously this was because they inflated the quote they gave me and never intended on covering a dime of the repair. They finally agreed to pay half of repair done by my mechanic. Since the cost was even less to actually repair, i never asked the dealer to pay anything. They finally repaired the fender flare and i am still driving the vehicle. During this process I was made to feel that Borcherding cared nothing for me as a customer after the sale. I even contacted Kim Borcherding via email and phone as instructed by the "personalized" letter i received from "her" if i had problems with my experience. The call went to a General Manager's (Rich Ackman) voice mail and it, nor the email i sent, was ever returned by Kim or her general Manager. Disclaimer: While this was MY experience and there is no guarantee you will share it, i am requesting that you please AVOID this dealership for your new or used vehicle needs. If you do, please be sure to use Adam Hutson as your sales representative. He will fight for you when the dealership fails. More
I would like to just take a moment to say how much I appreciate Mark "Duke" Dukate and James Gamble for their great help and attitude towards me even though I did not purchase a vehicle. The integrity t appreciate Mark "Duke" Dukate and James Gamble for their great help and attitude towards me even though I did not purchase a vehicle. The integrity that was displayed gave me a new outlook on the "car salesman" viewpoint that had been imbedded in my mind. They offered nothing less than top notch guidance and a sense of welcome. Thanks not only to them but all of Borcherding for putting guys like that on the front line. Look forward to visiting you in the future! More
Recently purchased a 2012 GMC Terrain. I went to a few other dealerships seeing how the special ordering process was as I would not be able to pick it up till 2012. Every dealership wanted money down and other dealerships seeing how the special ordering process was as I would not be able to pick it up till 2012. Every dealership wanted money down and wanted pickup within 7 days. I stopped by Borcherding and met with Steve initially on a very busy day. Steve took the time to take care of me. As mentioned, the vehicle needed to be special ordered as I wanted the Merlot Jewel (red) color which became available 2 days before I stopped in. Steve explained how much he could sell it for, gave me a great value on my trade in (knowing he wouldn't be getting it for 2 months) and showed me my total monthly payments and asked for nothing down. He even mentioned that if it sat on the lot for a month for me to get the best promotional offer, that was fine by him. Steve updated me the entire process of when the vehicle was ordered, when it was built, and when it arrived. I have never met a better salesman than Steve. There was a slightly major error in the purchase paperwork that was not caught until my way home and Steve immediately got to work on fixing the problem and offered me a free oil change for my hassles. Two thumbs up there. Nothing was pressured to buy and the entire process seemed to easy to believe. I recommend anyone looking to purchase a Buick or GMC to stop by and see Steve. More

I bought a new 2011 GMC Terrain. Keith made this new car purchase the BEST car-buying experience I've ever had. Women in general do NOT look forward to buying a car, because no matter how educated or aware purchase the BEST car-buying experience I've ever had. Women in general do NOT look forward to buying a car, because no matter how educated or aware of what we want, most dealerships are like dinosaurs in their treatment of female buyers, because they talk down to them or seem to respond directly to their spouses even when its the woman asking the questions and attempting to lead the conversation. Keith was entirely different. He personalized his approach, and practically ignored my husband because he could see this car purchase was for me, not my husband, and wanted to ensure I got my needs met. I wasn't too thrilled with the interest rates or dealer incentive, but after Keith's suggestion to do a credit check to potentially be offered a much lower rate, he was able to seal the deal. There were no pushy sales tactics, and in fact we left the showroom and received a call when the final interest rate was determined (started at 3.2% and ended up at 1.75%). I will definitely recommend Keith and Borcherding Buick/GMC to friends and family. Keith could teach other "dinosaur dealerships" about how to treat all potential buyers. More
Keith worked with me over the last month to buy this new car. When we reviewed inventory and found that none of the available vehicles were close to meeting my needs, we ordered one direct form the factory. car. When we reviewed inventory and found that none of the available vehicles were close to meeting my needs, we ordered one direct form the factory. Keith expedited the process by replacing a market car for the dealer with mine, so the car was made within two weeks of the order date. He contacted me weekly to provide progress updates, and made the process exciting. I will buy from him again. More

This is my first time dealing with Borcherding and I must say, I was very impressed with the overall sales process. I did not arrive until 4PM on a Saturday to take a test drive, and after the decision was m say, I was very impressed with the overall sales process. I did not arrive until 4PM on a Saturday to take a test drive, and after the decision was made to purchase the vehicle, they stayed until way past closing time ( 6 PM )to close the sale. Not only that, but I did not bring the title with me of the vehicle I was trading in, so my salesman, Fred H went out of his way to drive all the way down to Northern KY from Mason OH to pick it up, which saved me time and gas to deliver it. Finally, after much research on my part on the used Ford I was interested in, I know that I truly got a great deal and am very satisfied. Would I recommend them to a friend? Absolutely! If I have future needs, I will consider Borcherding first. I hope they don't change a thing in their sales techniques! More
