No interest in doing warranty repair on Ram 2500 I have always enjoyed buying trucks from Boniface so I though their service department would be as good as sales. I was wrong. Took in my 2014 Ram 2 I have always enjoyed buying trucks from Boniface so I though their service department would be as good as sales. I was wrong. Took in my 2014 Ram 2500 for apparent exhaust manifold leak. I explained to them that I had the same problem on a 2011 Ram 1500 with the same 5.7 Hemi. I told them the noise was most noticeable on cold start up but could occur at any time. They checked it out and in about an hour gave me my keys and said the truck was done. I asked what they did and they said they did not hear anything so they did nothing. They said I could bring it back and leave it overnight so they could cold start it - but they had me doubting their desire to find or repair the problem. I left and took it to Gator in Melbourne a couple weeks later where they found a broken exhaust manifold stud and a warped manifold - no arguments - they just fixed it (under warranty). I will not make the trip to Merritt Island for service at Boniface in the future - complete waste of time. More

1st Encounter with Boniface/Heir Went to dealership 9 1/2 miles from my home. 2 days and finance rep was a ©®¥â‚¬!!!!!! Warning lights I was satisfied with the service, although I do feel it was possibly over priced. When I checked with the Parts Department they gave me a price for a new battery and then indicated that they charge $50. to install. I inquired about a 2014 Scion FR-S that I found online, and the next morning, Erin called me to follow up on my interest. I was contacted later that same day by Patrick and he gave me a lot of good background information on the car. Over the next few days, Erin and Patrick reached out to me and kept in touch, and not in an obtrusive or overbearing way. They were both friendly, helpful, and responsive to all my questions and concerns. I finally decided to make the trip down to the dealership, albeit a little wary of buying a car that I hadn't seen before because of a recent experience with another car dealer. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. I finally got to meet Erin and Patrick, and they are just as genuine in person as they are on the phone. Patrick led me to my car, and the pictures online served it no justice. It was by far the best, and last, of the 5 cars that I had been looking to buy over the past few months. I was already pre-approved for a loan, so I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. When they told me I was all ready to go, I couldn't believe it. I highly recommend Boniface Hiers. My first day back at work, I already recommended them to a co-worker who wants to buy a Dodge Challenger later this year. I'm not one to advertise, but my experience is worth taking the time to share it with others who are shopping for a car, and I've decided to keep their license plate frame on my new FR-S. Very Poor Service Purchased a new Jeep Wrangler last year from Boniface Dodge Jeep in Merritt Island. About 8 weeks after purchase rust started to leach out around the Purchased a new Jeep Wrangler last year from Boniface Dodge Jeep in Merritt Island. About 8 weeks after purchase rust started to leach out around the bumper bolts. Returned to dealer and spoke to the service manager Ed O'donnell. He said he would do a courtesy cleaning one time as this rust was normal to the area which I disputed. After cleaning I asked where I could purchase cleaner and he said it had a mild acid base and was not sure if it was safe for continued use and that the dealer buys it in bulk. A short time later rust returned and around the bolts he used it on and my bumper was stained. I returned to dealer and he denied using the acid base cleaner and insinuated that I did it and there was nothing else he could do for me. I called Chrysler customer service and after negotiating with them they agreed to pay $500 towards a $517 bill to have all bolts removed, powder coated and re-installed. The body shop said upon removing bolts only the visable part was painted. The rest of bolt was raw rusted metal. I returned to dealer prior to repairs for an oil change and spoke to my salesman about how un satisfied I was with the service department. He said he would have the GM call me which never happened. I would advise anyone to stay away from this dealer. Where my sales experience was fine, the service after the sale was non-exsistant. The service department messed the finish on my bumper up and the sales manager lied about it. He was wanting me to accept the bolt problem as normal as other new Jeeps on the lot were rusted. I felt if I was able to negotiate with Chrysler and got them to agree to repair I had done , he could of done this too. It is his job If you deal with this gentleman get it in writing. It was also very disheartening that the GM did not have the decency to call me. I will never do business with this unscrupulous dealership again. BEWARE! One last note, the reason I waited so long to post this is that I was waiting to be reimbursed by Chrysler for money I paid for out of my pocket for the repairs before telling my story. More
