Scammed By Finance Guy with 'Extra Warranty' costs. I went in looking for a New or Newer Used Jeep. I was clear with Aaron that it had to be a 4 door, had to be a soft top and had to be a manual and I went in looking for a New or Newer Used Jeep. I was clear with Aaron that it had to be a 4 door, had to be a soft top and had to be a manual and that I only had 35,000 to spend but could put 5,000 down. Aaron had to look inside of almost every jeep in the lot but found one that met my requirements. It was really a great vehicle too. 2016 Sahara with only 14,000 miles and lots of options ....even 4x4. I was very happy. They even discounted the price from 34000 to 32000. At least that was what the FIRST PAPERS i SIGNED said. With Tax, and Extras it was $36000+ I was OK with that. I knew I would put 5000 on it. that would get me down to 31k+ for the loan. So far, so good ...right? Well, then how did MY LOAN AMOUNT come to $38,725 after the $5000 Down Payment? How, because they brought my Fiancé and I into another room with the 'FINANCE GUY' who was 'conveniently' training a NEW GUY. They started out by winning over our trust by telling us that these are all options that they 'had to offer us' but that there were a number of them that really weren't worth it. He went through Lo Jack and a few others. However when he got to the Extended Warranty, he said that this was really worth it because you got so many extras and so much coverage all for only 2800.00. My Fiancé and I thought this was worth it. We DID ask if this was in the original price of the vehicle, and were told YES but I will give to you readers that I would accept that this was extra. However, there were another nearly 4000.00 in EXTRA COSTS that were added on the LOAN DOCUMENT that were never explained, never reviewed and never delineated...except on that Loan Document. However the loan document is paper is a VERY, VERY UNIQUE sheet of paper. It is over 24 inches LONG and it was the LAST document we signed AFTER we thought we totally understood all the costs and fees ...because Peter, the loan Guy, explained them...right? WRONG. Never ONCE did PETER TELL US that all these NEW ADD-ON added up to an additional $7000! Never once did Peter provide us with a LINE ITEM of charges except on the loan sheet which was conveniently folded to COVER the loan amount and the loan LINE ITEMS. We DID sign a document for the Extended warranty ...or what we thought was the extended Warranty...but at this point, i don't even know what it was for because the extended warranty was listed on the loan at 2890 And we were never provided copies of all the documents we signed, only certain ones; as some contradicted other. They took advantage of the fact that I was buying this jeep for by Fiancé and she was there. We were both very excited. They were very vague, misleading, and told us things that were Flat out NOT TRUE! So, here is my honest, no BULL advise. Read EVERYTHING. Ensure that you SEE and READ the Actually LOAN DOCUMENT ...don’t ASSUME you know what the Loan is for because they have told you over and over that the CAR is $36,173 and you are putting 5000 down. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET COSTS FOR EVERY SINGLE EXTRA, WARRANTY, COVERAGE FEATURE, etc. in an ITEMIZED BREAKDOWN or you TOO will be shocked what the Loan documents come. I’m sure that many of you are going to say… “Well it is his fault, he should have read the loan paperwork”. And you are probably right. However, after 3 hours, and two different people telling you what you THINK the price is, and leading you to believe that all the extras like Free REPLACEMENT KEYS: one annually for 5 years, undercoating, Upholstery treatment, etc, etc ,are all INCLUDING in the price of the fabulous Extended Warranty, you actually BELIEVE them. Peter did a great job of how he SPUN the EXTRA Features without actually EVER telling us the additional price of it. So you truly believe that you KNOW what the loan amount is going to be. So when that LAST LOAN DOCUMENT comes, you feel it is just a formality. What I can also tell you is THIS. THEY NEVER EVER, EVER REVIEWED the FINAL numbers with us. . When the Loan documentation came from the bank, I was shocked to see that I hadn’t financed $31,173 nor had I financed $34,000 if you added in the Extended Warranty (which there was some ‘question about’ … was it included in the original price or not. So I just accepted that it might be an extra charge even though Peter said it was included.) … I HAD FINCANCED …… $38,725, making the price of the car a whopping …..$43,725. Now do you think ANYONE EVERY ASKED if we were OK spend that EXTRA MONEY? Do you think that Aaron EVER CAME INTO THAT ROOM and asked us if we were sure we understood that we were nearly 9,000 over our budget? NOPE. And people, I can tell you. Had I even ONCE been show the actual FINAL NUMBER…I would have put the brakes on the deal. But we both signed the loan documents … happily. And for the record, we NEVER EVER haggled on the price, asked for more of a discount, threatened to walk away or SHOP them to other dealers…NEVER ONCE. We thought we were getting a fair deal! Yea RIGHT! Can you get a good car at Boniface Hiers...Why of course you can. But Please KNOW THIS AS WELL…. THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND SWINDLE YOU OUT OF EVERY PENNY THEY CAN…USING EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK…long forms folded over, implying that features and extras and included in other fees when they aren’t, having ‘TRAINEES in the office with you when you are filling out the FINANCE paperwork so they can start ‘SIDE BAR’ conversations to distract you or use their conversations between each other as diversions because as human beings, we immediately pay attention to the people talking and not to the documents in front of us. They are NOT your friends, but they will make you believe they are. THEY ARE NOT THERE TO LOOK OUT FOR YOU…but they will make you believe they are, THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO HELP YOU get the BEST DEAL, but they will make you BELIEVE THEY ARE! I have bought 7 cars before this one. Mostly new, one 2014 infinity QX80 Slightly used, like this Jeep. NEVER EVER have I seen this kind of double-talking, slide of hand, misleading, conniving, trickery in my life at what I thought was a reputable dealer. Let me end with this…this is how I KNOW that I was set up from the beginning. The original price of the jeep was told to me to be 34,000 by Aaron. He then said he was able to get a Discount of $2000 taking it to $32,000. He then said that with Tax, Warranty, Title, Fees, the total of the car was $36,173. OK…if you put that into any of the on line payment calculators, it comes to about $510 per month for a $37,000 loan with a 72 month loan. So WHY was the ORIGINAL QUOTE for my PAYMENT approximately $640 and change???? Because they already had me bulls-eyed and wanted to set MY EXPECTATION of what the PAYMENT WOULD BE so I DIDN’T FLINCH when it WAS that amount…only thing is …that PAYMENT AMOUNT repays a loan that is $8000 HIGHER than what I thought I was being charged for the car… More

Outstanding customer service!! I came in to get my oil changed in my 2015 Ram 1500, and to have the driver's side headlight evaluated for replacement under warranty as it had water I came in to get my oil changed in my 2015 Ram 1500, and to have the driver's side headlight evaluated for replacement under warranty as it had water inside. The place was packed with customers and every lift station was full, but the staff were very courteous and promised to do the best they could to get my vehicle serviced as quickly as possible. Jim Moran, the shop foreman, came to speak with me a bit later to say that they had evaluated the headlight and it would indeed be replaced under warranty. The part would need to be ordered and I would have to come back at a later time to have it replaced. Sounded good to me. I was about ready to pay for my oil change when Jim came back out and said he'd found the headlight unit for my truck in stock and offered to replace it then and there. One of the technicians took the truck back right away and got to work on it. Jim estimated about an hour, but the tech had it done in about 30 minutes. The new headlight looks great and I couldn't have asked for more professional or courteous service. The staff did a fantastic job of looking after me and I'd recommend this dealer to anyone looking for solid, reliable customer service after the purchase of a vehicle. More
