STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! This dealer told me I needed a new engine in my 2015 Promaster Diesel Van with only 83k miles on it. It would not start when I brought it in, with d This dealer told me I needed a new engine in my 2015 Promaster Diesel Van with only 83k miles on it. It would not start when I brought it in, with diagnostic codes showing an issue with the ECM. The service advisor Sean first told me it was a blown fuse, then they told me it needed a new starter and after all that did nothing to fix the problem, told me I would need a new engine for $16,000! Thank god I did not believe them and had my van towed to a different dealer in Orlando who replaced the ECM as the diagnostic codes showed and fixed the problem. After reaching out multiple times to the Service Manager Craig and the General Manager Steve, and finally speaking with Craig, I was told they would call me back about remedying why I spent over $1100 on a starter for no reason and why they tried to get me to replace the whole engine when the other dealer was so easily able to diagnose and fix the problem. I have since received no replies to my calls, emails and messages left with them. Do yourself a favor and bring your business to another dealer. More
