Bait and switch On Friday, we found a used car advertised by Bonham. We called regarding it and negotiated a cash price. We arranged to drive to Texas to pick it up. On Friday, we found a used car advertised by Bonham. We called regarding it and negotiated a cash price. We arranged to drive to Texas to pick it up. On Sunday night we received a call from "Juan" regarding our inquiry. He said he had no idea we were already working with a salesperson. On Monday morning we received another call while in route telling us the car was not "ready". Our final call from them was to inform us that the price for the car would be $2000 more than the advertised price. The car is currently still listed on their website for the original price we agreed to pay. A textbook bait and switch. More
