He is extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he was a VW aficionado. He not only knows the cars inside and out but you can see that he believes in the brand and has a passion for it. Great Sales Department, Terrible Management I bought my car from this dealer in 2012, and have had every service, and tire on my Passat bought through this dealer. My parents, sister, and broth I bought my car from this dealer in 2012, and have had every service, and tire on my Passat bought through this dealer. My parents, sister, and brother in law have done the same. Even my wife's car has been bought from a Bommarito dealership because we've never had bad service there. The service department does great work, but don't' ever ask to talk to a manager about pricing on your service. I thought that my years of loyalty of having work done on my car would have meant something, but apparently not. On my 2012 Passat the door would not close. I had to drive it there holding the door shut with one hand the entire way. Not the smartest decision, but money is tight, and the idea of paying for a tow truck wasn't really an option. I got there, I talked to the guys at the counter who are always nice, and once everything was set I asked to talk to the manager about the cost of parts. I explained to the manager the problem with the car at the moment. I said I would pay for the diagnostic fee and any labor involved in fixing the car. But I don't think a car that is not that old should have this type of failure on the door latching mechanism, warranty or not. I understand this is out of warranty, but this is definitely out of the normal. He tried to say I hadn't had all my services done there, which I was insulted by because I have. Now I understand it wasn't fair for what I said to him, I did say that if they have the work done on my car and I am charged for the parts, I wouldn't be too happy and I'd talk to the BBB. His response was for me to leave. I asked why, not the best move on my part. But I never yelled or was belligerent to the man, but he told me to leave or he'd call the cops. I was amazed that he was reacting so strongly to a simple conversation, not a real people person. What's funny though is that they were also going to replace my airbag. So he sent me off in my car with a door that I had to hold shut with my left arm, and an airbag that has a recall. Every service on that car has been done there, and I have never felt so wronged in my life. Now, he was absolutely right that they are a private business and don't have to service me given what I suggested by saying if I have to pay for the parts I would report that. But my reasoning is that frayed cables (confirmed by coffee automotive) on a car at this point is not normal wear and tear, that sounds like a defect. I've spent thousands of dollars there over the years. The car was paid for in cash, however, if you want to get technical, the only service that wasn't done there was a patch on a tire when my wife and I were on vacation in Michigan and had to find a place to get it repaired. And at the end of the day, they sent a loyal customer away in an unsafe vehicle because a manager decided to get upset over the issue. So I won't be back, and after speaking with my parents, sister, and brother in law, neither will they. So one man ruined not just one relationship with a loyal customer, but multiple. What's funny, is I remember my sister's Honda civic having a problem with a pully that the mechanic said he has never seen fail, and the mechanic fixed it at Bommarito for free. That dealer honored their vehicle because they understood that failure is way outside the norm. That honda civic was out of warranty. I offered to pay for labor and the diagnostic fee just not the parts, which is more than my sister had to ever pay for the issue with her pully. Loyalty seems to mean nothing with this particular dealership, so consider this when buying your vehicle, don't ever expect anything in return for your years of loyalty, because they don't value it. I have reported this issue with the door to the department of transportation safety on the chance that there is a defect. While I was waiting to get help, the man at the service desk was on the phone with someone for the same issue on the same door. More
Fantastic experience Testing and Buying a new GTI! We weren't ready to buy or drive yet, so he pointed us to a couple of the vehicles we were interested in to sit in an look at, absolutely no pressure. About a month later, we were ready to buy. At that time, I began emailing Reese, setting up a time, and asking questions. He answered all my questions, offering candid and open answers about the vehicles. I wasn't able to make a decision between 3 different models prior to test driving them. When we arrived at the dealership, it was pouring down rain due to an unexpected series of storms. That didn't matter, Reese had all 3 vehicles ready to drive. After Driving all 3 vehicles (Passat, Jetta, and GTI each amazing in their own right) we decided on a 2018 GTI S. On to the dreaded negotiations and Finance sales pitch right? NOT at this dealership. Pricing was super fair and easy. Reese was very helpful getting the paperwork ready. Then we met Adam, our finance manager. Adam asked us a few questions then pointed us to coffee, water, donuts, and comfortable seating while he went and did his thing. Once in his office, there was none of the expected high pressure insurance sales pitch. He very kindly and honestly presented what they had to offer, answered questions about them, gave us pricing for them and let us pick what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend this dealership, and specifically Reese and Adam. More

Wasn't going to buy a VW but Reese was AWESOME! He was extremely outgoing, catered to our personalities, and made the sale more of a personal experience than a business transactio Reese was AWESOME! He was extremely outgoing, catered to our personalities, and made the sale more of a personal experience than a business transaction. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, other than an SUV that had AWD and would get me good fuel economy at the same time. My price point was very difficult to match, however, Reese was able to make the deal that Mazda, Kia, and Hyundai could not come to terms for. I feel like I got the better vehicle too and Reese made the experience one to remember. I highly recommend him to anyone and know I have others going to buy vehicles from him in the future as well. Thanks Reese! More
