I found one in Palm Springs and was planning on going there the next day to buy it from a private party. Just to make sure I was making the right decision I looked one more time on the internet and found a similar one at Bob Wondries. My husband called and made an offer, which they refused, they countered, we refused and told them we would just buy the one in Palm Springs. The next morning the salesman called us and offered the same thing as the night before, again we refused. He called again and said we could have it at the price we wanted. So we called and cancelled the car in Palm Spring and drove 45 minutes to Bob Wondries. When we arrived there, a family was looking at the Subaru. The salesman made a comment to us not to worry because our offer was already accepted over the phone. Our name was on their whiteboard with Subaru next to it. We took it for a test drive, told them we would take it and went in to fill out the paper work. As we were filling out the paperwork , the salesman got up then came back and said sorry it sold. When we arrived the car was still available, we had agreed on a sales price and they were expecting us. Charles the manager was very rude. He stated it was illegal for them to hold a car. He also stated that it was who ever made an offer first, and our offer was already accepted over the phone and we were already filling out the paperwork, Doesn't that mean our offer was accepted first? We were there, the car was available and we had already agreed to a sales price, we just needed to fill out the paperwork. When we arrived the other party was still looking and had not even talked numbers yet. They should have told the other party that we had already agreed to a price and were buying the car. What is so madding is that THEY CALLED US that morning, we were all set to get the car in Palm Springs. Now we lost out on both cars! Wow their word is worth nothing. The bottom line is the other party offered more. Unethical and dishonest that sums up the staff at Bob Wondries Ford. More

Paul Johnson and the rest of his team are honest and up front about everything and there are no surprises or catches that can sour the whole experience that I have experienced with other dealers. They are also flexible in how they approach a deal and both times I found that they are willing to work with me to give me the deal that I was looking for. He made my first time buying a new car painless and easy! Having had a less than stellar experience at the Toyota dealership down the road, I was a little apprehensive at first, but from the beginning of the experience Matt treated me like someone who deserved the best and went above and beyond to get me in the right car for me! I really had my heart set on a C-Max but had to stick to a certain budget, so he showed me cars with the features I wanted (back-up camera, touch screen navigation, hybrid/electric engine) that were in my price range. He also mentioned he had some other C-Max Hybrids in storage that he could bring out for me to see, one of which was one I'd had my eye on when looking at their online inventory (power liftgate, glass roof, back-up camera). With a little negotiation, we managed to strike a deal that had me driving away in the exact car I wanted with only paying $40 over the listed price-taxes and title included! Maybe I could have negotiated for more, but I can't complain. I'm driving a car that hasn't had to be filled up since I bought her! The follow-up service has been fantastic as well. I can really tell the people at Bob Wondries want to get you in the car you want, not the car they want to sell you! More

Didn't Honor "Customer Buy Back Event" Offer Don't trust this dealer! I received a "65 Year In Business Buy Back" offer for my Ford Explorer. I called to confirm it was legit and verified that Don't trust this dealer! I received a "65 Year In Business Buy Back" offer for my Ford Explorer. I called to confirm it was legit and verified that my Explorer met the criteria to receive the value the offer stipulated -- $3,000 over blue book. After traveling 35 miles to get there in two cars, the Used Car manager would not honor the offer, giving me a value $2,000 less than the Buy Back offer. I spoke with the General Manager, Charles Lu, who basically said the salesman on the phone 'made a mistake' and he too would not honor the offer. He did offer to pay for the gas I used to get there, but I refused out of principal. If you received this offer as a past customer, read the fine print!!! They use it to back away from their offer. For example, if you are 10,000 miles over the allotted !0K miles per year, they subtract $0.65/mile -- that's $6,500 they deduct from the offer. More

I took in my car last week, and it was a complete. 180..... when i pulled up, the rep was right there ready to take in the car. asked what needed to be done, asked again, if their was anything else before she sent me on my way..... and then thanked me for coming in. I saw a used one with every option I wanted and nothing I didn't. Problem was, I wasn't ready to buy that day so I didn't have as much of a down payment as I would've liked. No problem for them. My salesman was Matt Figueroa, and the best car salesman I've ever had. They were able to take my measly down payment, get me a great deal and configure a financing plan that worked for my family. At the end of the deal, my daughter was never bored and they even FILLED the 36-gallon tank!! I discovered a few days later the jack and tools were missing. They replaced them with new pieces with absolutely no hassle. I plan on keeping this truck at least 25 years. After that, I'll probably go back to Bob Wondries Ford for a replacement. More
