My wife and I didn't expect to buy a car when we to visit Bob Tyler Toyota on Thursday. We were there just to look at some of the Toyota models my wife had been researching. However, Sawyer Martin took us Bob Tyler Toyota on Thursday. We were there just to look at some of the Toyota models my wife had been researching. However, Sawyer Martin took us from lookers to buyers. He was very knowledgeable about the used Toyota Highlander 2020 we were shown and took a test drive in. He quickly understood that safety features were important to us and patiently answered all of our questions. My wife was driving a Toyota Highlander 2005, and these features were new to her. Sawyer was also willing to share information about the history of the vehicle with a CarMax review and pricing. This transparency was important to us and moved us along in our decision making. Sawyer was personable, open, and put no pressure on us to make a quick decision. Paul Soderlind was also helpful in closing the deal with a good purchase price, a good trade-in price, and making sure we drove the vehicle home on Thursday night. This is the third vehicle that my wife and I have purchased from Bob Tyler Toyota. Wishing Sawyer good luck fishing in North Carolina. We learned that's what he loves to do. He and Paul made buying a car pleasurable, and my wife is glad she has now has a safe, dependable vehicle to chauffeur our grandkids around town. If we ever need another car, we'll be back. More
The service department failed to schedule my rental car that was promised to me during a recall appointment. When setting up the appointment to have my recall completed, I explained that I have several imp that was promised to me during a recall appointment. When setting up the appointment to have my recall completed, I explained that I have several important meetings to attend and rental car transportation will be required for me to schedule a recall service that takes half of the day. The representative assured me that a rental car would be available for a small daily fee. I arrived for the appointment and asked when my rental would be available. I have a meeting coming up soon. The service representative stated, "we do not have a rental for you. I asked another employee at the service desk, and the employee said they would work on finding me one. When the service representative accessed my account, she found that a daily rental was, indeed, approved for me. The service department did not follow through on the commitment to schedule it. I waited for over 30 minutes while the representative called rental car companies. No rental company had a car available, and the service department has zero solutions. The final decision is "you will just need to reschedule for another day." My morning was wasted traveling from Pace, FL, and business meetings were missed. Now, I have to carve out another day on my schedule to get this work completed. I'm very disappointed with the service and even more dissatisfied with the lack of care. I will not be using this service department or dealership for any future needs. More
Grossly pathetic! My truck has been there for two months now and is still there. They told us that it was ready and when I got in the truck the a.c. did not work. It w My truck has been there for two months now and is still there. They told us that it was ready and when I got in the truck the a.c. did not work. It was fine when I dropped it off. The truck has about 50k miles and it would be rare for a Toyota to have the a.c. go out. They want 2k dollars to fix it. The truck was hit by lightening and had a lot of issues that was covered by insurance but Bob Tyler is saying that lightening would not cause a.c. issues. Really? It hit all three of our trucks and it killed the a.c. in there. They did not want to deal with the insurance from the start and had the service department do the insurance. He left and the next day all of a sudden nothing else was caused by lightening. So the a.c. went out due too when Bob Tyler fixed the other electrical issues, a Tundra with 50k miles when out due too poor Toyota quality while being at the Bob Tyler dealership, or it was due to lightening.
