Terrible Dealership Purchased a used 4Runner which was represented as just out of their service department and had timing belt changed. Within 3 months timing slipped an Purchased a used 4Runner which was represented as just out of their service department and had timing belt changed. Within 3 months timing slipped and bent valves making car undrivable. Bob Tyler refused to take responsibility for problem. Toyota corporate sent me to other Toyota dealership for repair which still cost me thousand of dollars in out of pocket expenses. When I finally got Bob Tyler personally on phone he got off line as quickly as possible and he avoided the calls ever since. Rot comes from the top and Bob Tyler is rotten. More

Since I cannot correct the inaccurate survey I submitted (on behalf of John Bilello) on 7/12/18, I write this review to explain the contradicting answers on the survey. The sole purpose of my submitting the survey was to make you aware of the superb service that your valuable service consultant, GREG MANN, provided me. These are the comments I wrote on the survey: Keep your valuable service representative. GREG MANN. employed @ your dealership. I could've paid less if I had gone somewhere else. Greg's trustworthiness is the ONLY reason I brought my car to you because I was confident he would provide me with exceptional service. He did not disappoint me. A situation occurred to my car while it was in your care (not Greg's fault). Despite our disappointment & inconvenience, we remained patient because I knew Greg would do everything in his power to accommodate us and resolve the problem. He went beyond the call of duty to avoid further inconvenience to us and ensure we were satisfied with the outcome. I cannot give enough praise about GREG MANN. He's personable, yet professional. Despite the overwhelming amount of work orders that he handles in one day, he is calm, pleasant, sincere & PATIENT. Customer service is VERY important to me & Greg, once again, provided me with OUTSTANDING service He deserves an "Outstanding Employee Award" & a raise in pay. I was unsure and incorrectly answered some questions on the survey. I gave low ratings because I mistakenly thought the questions applied to ALL of Bob Tyler's employees in general. Had I realized that the questions pertained to Greg Mann specifically, I would have given him the highest (best) possible ratings. My completion of the survey was to reflect Greg's superior service. It was NOT my intention to provide negative responses that would discredit Greg's job performance or jeopardize his good standing in your company. I hope the appropriate personnel reads this review and overlooks my inaccurate negative responses on the survey. More
