I just wanted them to hook up my car to the computer and did quick diagnosis. I was told to set up an appointment for next week. I asked to be seen sooner ( I did not want to drive my car with this lights on)- I was refused and told that if I do not want to drive my car I can park it there and get a rental for a week. I did not stay there. I found another ford dealer which helped me the same day and solved the problem- it was only computer error. More

I went to Bob Thomas Ford as I needed to get out of a Subaru Tribeca. It was a great car but cost a lot to run and I drive a lot in my job. LEXI got me a wonderful trade and with the help of their finance wizard I was able to buy a 2009 Ford Escape. LEXI was professional, caring, and totally committed to working a deal with me. It was a dream to drive and I loved it. About 2 months ago I was involved in a serious accident and my car was totaled. I was completely unhurt except for a friction burn on my wrist when the air bag deployed. I am here to tell the story, so that says a lot. But, Lexi, the finance wizard, and bob Thomas staff who have all been wonderful to me once again did a superb job for me. They helped me negotiate through the paperwork of the totaling of the old Ford and got me into a 2011 Ford Escape. I am thrilled with her. She is just as fine as her predecessor. With LEXI and the finance wizard, they got me a sweet deal. I ended up paying less monthly for a newer car with all of the same advantages as my first escape. If you want a more than a fair deal and wonderful people to work with and for you bob Thomas Ford, LEXI, and the finance WIZARD are the way to go. More
My dad bought a $33,000 car from Bob Thomas Ford about a year and a half ago. He recently lost his job and reached out to Bob Thomas Ford to buy the car back. My dad went to Ford of Branford and spoke with the used car manager who made him an offer, contacted the bank and took care of the whole thing. I am so grateful for Ford of Branford and am planning to upgrade my Taurus soon and will be giving Ford of Branford, not Bob Thomas Ford, my business! More
I was in the market for a new car, and I have a few family members who have bought cars from bob thomas. I received the extremely bad service from Evan and Colby. I do not recommend anyone even go to bob thomas, based on their service. When all Evan wants you to do is sit down at his desk and sign paperwork, Colby is running numbers to try and get an affordable payment, anyone who has a loan payment calculator can come up with an "affordable payment". It seemed like they creating discounts so that the car would seem affordable, unfortunately you have to take taxes, DMV fees, warranties, GAP, etc. into consideration. Going down to Bob Thomas Ford was a huge waste of time Again, I do not recommend anyone do business here. More
As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted by everyone in there and asked if I would like some water, coffee, etc. The one employee that I had been talking to via email was running late with ano everyone in there and asked if I would like some water, coffee, etc. The one employee that I had been talking to via email was running late with another customer, another employee stepped in for the time being and showed me to the car that I had wanted to see and took me for a test ride. All the employees I talked to were super sweet and we had actual conversations for the time I was there. I didn't feel like they were just trying to sell me a car; they got to know me and worked really hard for my best interest. I got a great car at a great price and it was very easy because of the employees at Bob Thomas Ford. My mom who is thinking of buying a car in the near future plans on going through them again because they helped made buying a car as painless as possible. Lexi has stayed in touch with me to make sure the car is working just fine and I am very pleased with the service at this dealership! More
Made appointment at 7:30 a.m., still no work or info at 2 p.m. after third call. Unresponsive, and will not go back. Wanted to charge $160 to tell why the change oil light came on. Plugging the car into the diagnostic machine shouldn't cost that much or take 7 hours. I walked back to my apartment thinking it would be an hour or 2 as promised, ended up without a car all day, and got nothing accomplished. Glad I didn't wait in the waiting room. More
I was looking for an SUV and had been comparing a few models. I was pretty sure I wanted the Ford Edge and I was recommended to Bob Thomas Ford. It was a pleasure working with them. Lexi was great! She found the exact car I wanted and was able to work out a fair price (I had done my research on dealer invoice etc). But it was the customer service that sealed the deal. I lived out of state, so Lexi jumped through hoops in accommodating what I needed. They even kept the dealership open later so I didn't have to make a separate trip the next day. I also had to have them check something the next day and the service department was great. I didn't have an appt but they took me right away and fixed the issue right there. If you're looking at Ford, I would definitely recommend Bob Thomas...ask for Lexi. More
I was in the market for a new SUV recently and used the internet to do as much research as possible. After using the build and quote system at Ford's website, I received automated responses from 3 dealersh internet to do as much research as possible. After using the build and quote system at Ford's website, I received automated responses from 3 dealerships, but only one phone call the same day regarding my web inquiry. This fast in person response was from Lexi at Bob Thomas Ford. She had the exact vehicle I was looking for in stock and offered to hold it for me until I had a chance to bring my wife down to see it. I made it down and took the test drive, met some of the other salespeople at the dealership and had an opportunity to see my options in a "no-pressure" environment. In the end, I ended up buying a totally different vehicle than the first one I had a deposit on, based on a variety of factors. Lexi and the dealership bent over backwards for me to get me in my new SUV the same day. I and my company will continue to buy from Bob Thomas and Lexi for our future vehicle needs. I rated this place good on friendliness because it was. However, the treatment I received negates this. That I had bought the car at another dealership for $2,000 less. Then she tried to convince me that the price difference was because I had a different car built, which was not the case. Then she tried to convince me that it was cheaper to build a car then it was to receive one that was already on the lot. A car built today cheaper than one built 6 -12 months ago. Finally, when I tried to give her advice on dealing with customers that are well informed because of the internet she responded with: "I appreciate your feedback. I will take it as constructive critisicsm but I hope to clarify a few things before this is over......." and " I am very happy that you found the vehicle you were looking for and got a price you felt was fair. I feel bad that we could not have gained you as a customer as Bob Thomas Ford still remains #1 in customer service satisfaction in Connecticut. I would not know about their customer service because I went elsewhere and got treated with respect. More
