So Matt Willison-He's the only one you should ask for at Bob Taylor if you're looking for a Chevy. The whole car buying experience can be a tough one. So many options between dealerships, vehicles, options on those vehicles, and financing. Matt made these all easier than they normally seem to be. Even though I got a great price on the Silverado I bought, it was Matt and his professionalism that sold me. The commitment to getting me to a point where I was comfortable with the amount for my trade and the selling price of the vehicle was what ultimately mattered. As you're shopping around you'll find that anybody can throw out a high number on your trade and a low number on the vehicle you're looking to buy, but ultimately Matt and the crew at Bob Taylor were the ones that followed through with it and made good on their word. Unfamiliar with Chevrolet service I own a 2009 Chev HHR SS. It nas always been dealer serviced. I have moved to South Florida and have had to find a new dealer to service it. I have be I own a 2009 Chev HHR SS. It nas always been dealer serviced. I have moved to South Florida and have had to find a new dealer to service it. I have been to Bob Taylor Chev service 3 times. The first time was for lube oil filter and tire rotation, which seems pretty basic for a new car dealer. The car was returned to me without the oil monitor being reset. Upon my complaint, the service manager got the mechanic, who didn't know how to reset it. Finally got it reset. On my drive home I decided to check to see if the tire monitors had been reset. Guess what they hadn't. Back to Bob Taylor. The service manager was upset because I brought the car back, not because his guy hadn't done the job correctly. Second service at Bob Taylor was for a recall, which was done correctly. Yesterday I brought my car in for a lube oil filter change. When checking in I was informed my car had an open recall. I asked them to do the recall while the car was there. When the car was ready I went to pay the bill and they tried to charge me for the recall. After my complaint the charge was reversed. When getting back into my car, I checked the oil monitor. I was not reset. Why pay more money to get a car dealer serviced when it appears the dealer personnel have no clue about servicing their own product. Also I paid for Mobil one oil to be used. Why would I believe that it was used when the parts of the service I was able to check, was not done properly. More
Financial manager could not answer questions. I was forced to look up answers on my smartphone. Loan on trade in was not immediately paid off which resulted in an excess payment being deducted from my forced to look up answers on my smartphone. Loan on trade in was not immediately paid off which resulted in an excess payment being deducted from my checking account. When questioned about the loan payment employees lied and told me it was paid off. After checking with the bank a few days later, the loan was not paid off. After signing lease agreement, the mileage on the vehicle was substantially larger than the mileage on the documents. When I immediately went back to change the documents, the financial manager was busy socializing with other employees and I had to wait. Totally unprofessional behavior by these employees. More
Great service. No pushy sales rep. I was able to take time with my purchase decision and shop around for financing. Would not shop anywhere else. time with my purchase decision and shop around for financing. Would not shop anywhere else. More

They told me that when I came in for service that I would get special treatment. I thought that was a load of bull just to help convince me to purchase the truck! When it was time for my first service I went to the dealership. When I pulled in ,the service writer seen me and my sticker while writing up a lady from somewhere else, and said to her excuse me maam I will be right back.He then came over and wrote me up and a service person took my truck in immediatly to be serviced! They stood by their word!! Thats unuasual this day and age! I plan to deal with bob taylor chevy for a long time. Thanx;rocky. More
not sure on the recommend dealership yet. Like you, I not sure on the recommend dealership yet. Like you, I was anxious & wanted to research dealers & cars online to see what others had to say. After not sure on the recommend dealership yet. Like you, I was anxious & wanted to research dealers & cars online to see what others had to say. After all, other happy customers are the best advertising, right? Well if you have looked at many reviews, you will see the UNHAPPY ones are the review writers. Mostly, after the fact. Not so here. I was happy with the sale and some accomodations made on a blown tire 2 days after leaving the lot. Are you ready for the BUT?, BUT, a discovery of a leak was made when the spare was used. water accumulates in the back of the equinox. After some phone calls, George, the service manager was very helpful with a plan. In March, I took it back in upon request, and they spent time on trying to fix the problem. No signs of water. Well now in April (we've finally had some rain), some more water has shown up. George has gotten the car back, and I will update you on results. Hopefully, this will be positive! More
No customers service what so ever! This Service Department people think they are goods given – take it or leave it type of attitude. Took my Tahoe for a repair of the door handle (which was under warranty) but ended up having to pay for + a recall done which I did not asked for to be done purposely. Explanation to as for why they did it was very poor. If you don’t HAVE to take the car to this service then don’t! A handle replacement doesn’t take 9:00 am to 2:00 pm to be completed – after all it is a Chevy not a space shuttle. No consideration of you time or money, it’s like we customers have neither lives nor anything else better to do but wait for their highest to decide to when they’ll be done. No loaners or rental cars available. On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the worst & 10 being the best) I rate this service – 10. More

WE PURCHASED A 2008 CHEVROLET EXPRESS/COM-EXPRESS/CUT- AWAY 16 FT. BOX VAN 12,000 GVW. THIS WILL BE THE FOURTH VEHICLE THAT WAS PURCHASED FROM BOB TAYLOR. THIS IS THE THIRD BOX VAN PURCHASED 04/08/2009 FR AWAY 16 FT. BOX VAN 12,000 GVW. THIS WILL BE THE FOURTH VEHICLE THAT WAS PURCHASED FROM BOB TAYLOR. THIS IS THE THIRD BOX VAN PURCHASED 04/08/2009 FROM THIS PARTICULAR DEALERSHIP. I SPECIFICALLY STATED TO JIM SPANGLER THE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER THAT I WANTED TO PURCHASE ANOTHER 16 FT. BOX VAN - EXACTLY AS THE SAME AS THE TWO THAT THE DEALERSHIP HAD ON RECORD (2008 AND 2005) FROM PREVIOUS PURCHASES. IT WAS NOT DISCOVERED BY MYSELF THAT THE FRAME/CHAISIS OF THIS PARTICULAR CUT-AWAY VAN WAS MODIFIED AND OR FABRICATED TO EXTEND THE LENGHT TO 177" WHEEL BASE. THIS PARTICULAR UNIT STARTED OUT AS A 155" WHEEL BASE MODEL, DESIGNED FOR A SMALLER BOX. ALL OF THIS CAME TO MY ATTENTION WHEN THE VEHICLE DEVELOPED A FUEL LEAK. APPROXIMATE MILES (241). AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND LEAVING MESSAGES FOR MR. JIM SPANGLER, I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY COMMUNICATE THAT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND THAT THE FABRICATION WAS NOT DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF THE SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT DATE 04/08/2009. I STATED TO MR. SPANGLER THAT I DID NOT WANT THIS VEHICLE! THAT IT WAS NOT WHAT I HAD ORDERED. I SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT I WAS NOT GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A "WALK AROUND" AND OR WAS ABLE TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO SIGNING. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN FROM THE DEALERSHIP DIRECTLY TO OUR OFFICES/FACILITY BY ONE OF OUR EMPLOYEES. AGAIN, THIS ALTERATION/FABRICATION (DONE EXTREMELY, POORLY WIL ALSO BE ADDRESSED - THERE ARE A MULTITUDE OF STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY AND ENGINEERING ISSUES (FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM) THAT ARE WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE FRAME/CHAISIS. AGAIN, A FUEL LEAK BROUGHT THIS TO MY ATTENTION. GETTING BACK TO THE RESPONSE FROM JIM SPANGLER AND RODNEY NETTLES OF BOB TAYLOR CHEVROLET, I WAS TOLD THAT THE SALE WAS FINAL. I EXPLAINED THAT WE HAVE THREE DAY RIGHT TO REFUSAL. MR. SPANGLER SAID "NO YOU DO NOT" THE "SALE WAS FINAL". WE THEN FAXED A LETTER OF CANCELATION PER FLORIDA LAW TO BOB TAYLOR'S FINANCE DEPARTMENT ON 04/10/2009 AS WELL AS A FOLLOW-UP ON 04/11/2009. AGAIN, BOB TAYLOR DID NOT RESPOND TO BOTH OF THESE REQUESTS. THE ACTION TAKEN BY JIM SPANGLER AND BOB TAYLOR CHEVROLET, WAS TO HAVE THE BOX VAN TOWED (VIA FLAT-BED WRECKER) TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE A "REPAIR" WAS MADE (SERVICE #4083). A NOTE HERE, THAT WHEN THE BOX VAN WAS LOADED ONTO THE FLAT BED HAULER, THE DRIVER "DRAGGED" THE REAR BUMPER FOR SOME DISTANCE WHILE LOADING IT ONTO THE FLAT BED, DAMAGING THE BUMPER. I SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DELIVERED BACK TO OUR OFFICES AFTER HOURS, LEFT UNSECURED (BOTH DOORS UNLOCKED) AND THE KEYS (BOTH SETS) TAPED TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE SUN VISOR. THERE WAS NO PAPER WORK DETAILING THE "REPAIR(S)" MADE, AND NO COURTESY PHONE CALL TO LET US KNOW THAT THE BOX VAN WAS GOING TO BE DELIVERED BACK TO US. AGAIN, THERE ARE A MULTITUDE OF MAJOR ISSUES SURROUNDING THIS VEHICLE AND THE PURCHASE OF SAID. More
