Horrible Customer Service Car in Steele's shop for a week. AC working fine when the vehicle was brought in, but blowing hot air when the car was picked up. Brought the car back and waited 3 hours before they looked at the car. Still waiting, 4 hours in for them to fixed what they broke. NO COMMUNICATION, and service advisor (Larry) IS surely. More
A mass of frustration! I have used this service department for all my vehicle repairs over the last seven years. The work was always done well and in a timely manner. My service adviser, Ron Thompson (now the shuttle driver), kept me informed as to when the work would be done, if there was a delay, etc. The visit this week was nothing but frustration! I was early for my appointment and was told it would be about an hour for the diagnostics to be done, reasonable. FIVE hours later I got a phone call saying the work couldn't be done until the next day. I suggested I step into the service office and speak to them rather than over the phone. It needed a new power steering pump installed, less than a two hour job according to the remove and repair manual. Wheel alignment would follow. So I was shuttled home. About one o`clock the next day I called to see if it was ready. Nope. Three o`clock, hung up on. 4:45 I was told I could "start working my way there". So I found a ride as no shuttle service was offered. It took another 45 minutes to get the bill settled up. One computer had "frozen" and created that problem. Come on! Communication is everything! Different story from each person in the service dept. Dropped my 2018 truck off Monday. Tuesday afternoon i had to call them. Was told that the truck was totalled and rebuilt with all after market junk pa Dropped my 2018 truck off Monday. Tuesday afternoon i had to call them. Was told that the truck was totalled and rebuilt with all after market junk parts and truck was no longer under factory warrenty at 23,000 miles. Went to retrieve truck and was told that it was not totalled but has in a severe accident and had all junk yard parts on the front end. WOW then was told the bottom ball joints were welded in and the right strut tower was replaced cause it had a scrape on it. WOW made them put it on the lift to show me. Unknown to them I am ASE Master Mechanic with 40 years of experience. Much to my surprise i had to show them where what a bottom ball joint was and WOW again no weld on no ball joint. Then was told that the right lower control arm was from a junk yard cause it was scratched. I asked about the left control arm that had the same scratches and was told it wasn't replaced. WOW again. Then was told the frame was twisted and they couldn't fix the alignment so asked for the alignment sheet and then i find out they never checked the alignment nor did they put it on a frame machine. After i ask for the alignment sheet they take it off the rack and drive it around front and do a alignment xx. It gets better, the kid who cked the alignment left the sheet he printed in the truck which showed it was all green and good but the service manager later hands me an alignment sheet that shows all red and so bad that the machine can read it. WOW. Yes i have both sheets. All i can say do not believe wat your told by anyone as BOB STEELE RIP YOU OFF CHEVROLET. O and one other thing.. In 1975 there was a Law that was passed that states the only thing that will void a factory warrenty is a rebuilt or salvaged title. Even tho 4 of them told me that the truck was no longer coverd under the factory warrenty they would not put it in writing. Smart thieves. BEWARE.of the entire service department. All the supposed junk yard and aftermarket parts still have the GM Factory sticker on them. Lastly i was told that the right front tire was new and replaced. Amazingly it had the same date code as the others. Just think about how much money they could have charged me to fix a supposedly totalled truck. More

We found Bob Steele on the Internet and went there first thing on a Monday morning. Within 30 minutes of arriving there they had our truck in the shop and shortly after had the problem diagnosed. We had to stay two days to wait for parts but the service was excellent. Thank you Bob Steele. Larry was the service writer and he was exceptional. More

Bob Steele had ended up having my car for quite s I brought my 2018 Chevy camaro in for service and it was supposed to be a one day fix kind of thing. Bob Steele had ended up having my car for quite some time. I finally got it back but ended up still having the same issues with the car. So after quite sometime of going through Bob Steele and enterprise loner cars I finally got my 2018 camaro back. I just gotta say this company went above and beyond my expectations to fix things. Mr. Bob Steele himself went out of his way to make sure I was a happy customer after all the hassle I went through. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. They truly do care. More

Poor Service Brought my diesel truck in for oil change, second one offered by GM on new vehicle. Advisor was asked for the service, and a 27 point inspection that Brought my diesel truck in for oil change, second one offered by GM on new vehicle. Advisor was asked for the service, and a 27 point inspection that came with oil change, also asked to check DEF fluid. Well an hour later truck was ready was told DEF fluid was ok because mechanic did not mention it. Also told that my truck a 2017 2500 hd did not need a lube because there is no place to lube or fittings on the truck. And as for the 27 point inspection I was told it was not needed the truck was still new. Well when I arrived home, I can see grease fittings at least 4 without getting under the truck, and the DEF fluid took 5 gallons, not even sure if that filled it. Apparently if you did not buy the vehicle there or a snowbird as I am, forget about using Bob Steele for service. I not even sure they even changed the oil. More
