Bob Smith MINI

It was time for a new car and I was torn between function (Prius) and fashion (MINI Cooper Convertible). I did my homework by reading reviews on consumer reports and doing comparisons on Kelly blue book web (Prius) and fashion (MINI Cooper Convertible). I sent inquiries to two dealerships - one to Bob Smith MINI and one to a Prius dealership in LA County. Kirsten left me a voicemail and sent me an email and promised to make my buying experience as painless as possible. I called her back and she was brief on the phone. I liked that and scheduled an appointment with her. I arrived at Bob Smith MINI and Kirsten was tied up so she introduced me to George who "held my hand" through the process. I liked George immediately...calm, understanding, and informative. We went for a test drive and I fell in love with the easy handling, the sportiness of the convertible roof (which adjusts in fractions in case you don't want the whole thing down!), and the amazing sound system. I wanted the car badly but also knew what I wanted for my trade-in and how much I wanted to pay...I didn't want to get the "usual haggling". George and Kirsten were amazing. Got exactly what I wanted!!! AND now I have a new car! So glad I picked the MINI - mileage is much better than my CRV and I would NOT be this happy with a Prius. Bob Smith MINI made the experience as painless as possible and I got hugs on my way out! yay!! More

best car buying experience ever. totally different then the other BMW dealerships I called. They are laid back and friendly. Not pushy, just informative and enthusiastic. Robert was just excellent. He is very down to earth, no nonsense salesman. He provided me with details of all the options and costs before I selected the car I wanted. He went out of his way to have the accessories I purchased installed before I left the showroom. The financial department was equally as considerate. He explained all the options to me and as we added each item to the list (extended warranty), he always stopped to inform me how this changed the actual cost of the car. Very considerate. The service department at Bob Smith Mini is in a word "wonderful". Josh Gates and Christina Langosh have gone above and beyond what is required of them to assist me every time I visit Bob Smith Mini. Recently, they called me to notify me of two items that had been recalled by the manufacturer that needed replacing. Honestly, I would never had been aware of this recall if it wasn't for their attention to this matter. I brought my car in Josh explained the repairs in detail and he helped me get a replacement hood scoop that was peeling all under warranty. This replacement meant the world to me and if it weren't for Josh, I wouldn't have been able to get that replaced. Most importantly, the recall items turned out to be a huge fix for my car engine performance and my entire car feels like new! I couldn't recommend this place more and the 5-stars go to Josh and Christina. More

Everyone was friendly and a real job to deal with - they call and email for confirmations, they have loaners available easily. Serious, Professional and friendly. No put ons, pushiness or high pressure sales here. They have a gem in Robert, an x-race car driver.
