Poor service department I took my 2015 Kia Soul (purchased here in 2016) for an oil change. I got the "works package" oil change, tire rotation, set tire pressure and top flu I took my 2015 Kia Soul (purchased here in 2016) for an oil change. I got the "works package" oil change, tire rotation, set tire pressure and top fluids. My appointment was for wed.7/18/18 @ 10:00 Am. I called at 3:00 PM Donna didn't know anything about progress of car. She came back on phone and said they hadn't started it yet. I asked why. She said they were understaffed and a tech would have to look at rattle in front of car and he was backed up. We didn't get car till next day 7/19/18. My suggestion they shouldn't over schedule. Only schedule what you can handle! More

Amazing Customer Service We are not from the area, but was traveling through on our way to the National Fire Academy in MD from CT. We developed brake issues with a FD Expedition in the area of the dealership...need to add that it was closing time on a Friday afternoon. The folks at the dealership understood our situation, agreed to help. Provided a loaner car and offered their best to repair the issue the next day and have the car ready for our return trip home on Sunday. received text messages through out Saturday on the status. All repairs made and car was ready for our trip home to CT. Swapped cars on Sunday (even with dealership closed) Amazing people...Donna Cox, Jim Christopher, Ken Leese, & Jason Kline...THANK YOU! Fast forward to today....10/29....Took van in for my first "FREE" service. As soon as I walked in to the service department and spoke with my adviser I was immediately pressured to buy a better service than what I was already promised for free. My feeling is if what I was offered for free wasn't good enough, then why offer it in the first place? I told the service adviser that I wanted what I was promised and nothing more. At that time I also asked if he could take a look at one of the seats in the back that would not "stow and go" like it was supposed to. This never worked from day one. We just figured we would get it fixed when we took the van in for the first service. He said ok. we will take a look at it. After waiting nearly 3 hours he came to me in the lounge and said "it will cost $250.00 to fix the seat." I said I can't afford that right now and just please do the service. He then told me it was going to cost $90.00 just for them to look at the seat. You gotta be kidding me! $90 bucks to look at something that should have worked from the very beginning! Being extremely pissed I just wanted to pay the bill and get the hell out of there. I knew when I walked in there today and was immediately pressed to purchase extras that I didn't need I was not going to leaving there without paying something. And of course...that was the reality. They got me for $90.00 but lost a customer for life. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealer that will not rip you off. More

The lady I spoke with when I made my appointment ( Ms. Davis I think was her name) was very friendly and helpful when I called. I've only been to Bob Ruth a few times but I will definitely be back. The mechanic that looked at my vehicle ( Nathanial was the name on my invoice) was very thorough in looking at my vehicle and I will definitely be back to address the additional items found while my vehicle was in for the original repair. More

Irecived a cupon for a oil change ,the works package 44.95 . I was charged 71.76 for a 44.95 oil change .I asked for explanation well labor is 39.95 oil and filter is31.01 and a misc charge of.80 plus state tax.
