Thoughts for when dealing with repeat buyers especially if they're buying the same vehicle model. Have your people do some research on the prior owned model that's being traded so you can advise the custo if they're buying the same vehicle model. I had a 2018 LE and upgraded to a 2021 XLE premium package. Went to gas up yesterday and couldn't figure out where the fuel tank release was since it was not on the floor next to the driver seat as was in the 2018. Ended up popping the hood first when using the manual to locate. Also advise when features are no longer "standard option" like the CD player. Given I upgraded and had an CD player in both the 2015 & 2018, that should have been pointed out. There's an assumption when someone is getting a "premium package" so things like that make for any unhappy customer when we find out after the fact they're missing.. Lastly, why you would sell an XLE Premium package vehicle and not include floor mats is ridiculous. Again shouldn't be an expectation on the customer's part to ask for them to be included, especially in a leased vehicle. I advised my salesperson as I was transferring my belongings to the new vehicle that I needed the mats and have been advised they had to be ordered and will be mailed to my house. Kylee was an excellent person to work with so I am only pointing fingers at your management staff on these issues. It's all about proper training. More
