Asked them to order it so a repair was possible when I brought the Genesis in. service dept said they can't do that until they confirm an issue. Fine. 2) requested that the sunroof TSB be observed and the repair attempted because the car was a 2015-2018 genesis (scope of TSB). The VIN search suggested this car was not in the supported group of the TSB so it would not be covered under warranty. I asked they consider it anyway after driving the car, but the popping noise was not present during the drive per the tech, so no fix. (the issue is definitely still present) 3) Asked that the tire air pressure be uniformly set to 35. The service associate confirmed this was done. All tires were at 42 -45 after I checked. So, no, not done. 4) had to purchase yet another key fob battery. the last one lasted about 2 months. 5) I was assured after the first visit to confirm the trunk button issue that I would receive a call when the part was delivered to the dealership. 3 weeks goes by w no call. I call. "Oh yeah, we were just going to call you." 6) Dropped the car off at 8:15 am after scheduling with the dealership 4 days previously. Return to pick up the car at 12:30PM to learn it wont be done until 3 or 4. I took the rental home and waited for a call. Service associate called the next day at 5 pm to advise they would be open until 8. The team was always very friendly, the techs actually working the issues seem very educated, trained and competent. I'm ticked that the sunroof issue I have been complaining about since shortly after buying the car is now on a TSB but this dealership won't attempt a repair citing "we didn't hear it". I have been reporting this consistently for 4 yrs. The "we can't order parts" position was silly as well. You want to make a Genesis buyer happy, you order the part they tell you is required and if it's not required, you return it. And if you tell a customer something was done, you better be sure it was done just don't assume it was part of the "21 point inspection" ... More

Fabian Brooks also worked with us and he was very knowledgeable and professional. We had the usual back and forth on price and trade-in value but in the end Rohrman Hyundai and I were able to agree on a fair price. More

We (my wife and I) walked in to Bob Rohrman Hyundai to look at a specific car, and on the day I walked in, it was like a ghost town. It was clear from the onset that the place was understaffed. I was eventually greeted by Cory. Cory, despite being fairly new, extremely busy, and there on a day he should have had off, was nothing but professional. He was attentive, answered all of our questions promptly, and overall made the experience very low pressure. Not everyone there was as nice or professional as Cory was, but the quality of the car and his exceptional customer service sealed the deal for us. In addition to the buying experience, our salesman also followed up afterward via email, as well as a follow-up call about a week later. While they may be small gestures, it does go along way to making people feel that they aren't just another sale. More
I don't know about you, but every experience I had with the car dealers in the past was - at least - stressful. Dealing with aggreasive, pushy, sometimes mean (!) car salesmans wasn't my idea of "fun"... And we ALL need cars , unfortunately. Well - this time, at Bob Rohrman Genesis Dealership in Lafayette, IN, the things were different. First of all, because of Sam, the salesman. Very young, but actually, a very nice person. Knowledgeable, pleasant, enthusiastic. A little pushy - he is selling cars, actually- but, how can I say - in the right "amount" not to feel too pressured, as a customer... Good words also for DJ. his Manager. Young too, but again, a pleasure to work with. The fact I didn't buy a car from them (after I almost signed off the deal) has to do exclusively with some personal issues that "popped up" on the very last minute, which forced me to back off. And, believe me or not, I feel sorry I had to do this. When the time will come, I'll certainly go back to them. Thank you, guys - and good luck ! NOTE: Probably, no surprises when I am mentioning not everything at that Dealership was "milk and honey"... Hence, the 4 stars only for the Dealership (overall). A short, but... "powerfull" experience I had meeting the General Manager. A truly car "salesman". Extremely aggresive, pushing really hard to close a deal that very moment, with a "generous" offer that I didn't know how to react about - to laugh, as after a "good" joke, or to be offended. "It was only bussines" of course. I went back to that place tough, but I have been working only with Sam and DJ afterwards. If you need a car - an excellent car for a decent amount of money - stop by and ask Sam (or DJ) what they have to offer. Good luck to you, all. More

He was very knowledgeable about the product and quickly established a cordial and low pressure atmosphere. The communications were great too. Cory was easily accessible and responsive either by phone or email. And....to complete the purchase he even drove an hour and a half to pick me up, since I had decided to keep my older car. How's that for service? More
