xxxxx. I was told there was only 1 car on the lot that the bank would allow a loan on. Less than 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle the check engine lig I was told there was only 1 car on the lot that the bank would allow a loan on. Less than 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle the check engine light came on and I noticed the steering was off. When the steering wheel was straight the car pulled to the right. I called the dealership to ask about their return policy and was transferred to a manager or then transferred me to the salesman who sold me the car I told him about the problems he told me there was nothing they could do. I was never given an answer for the dealerships return policy but was informed that the contract was electronic and couldn't be withdrawn. Three days after purchasing the vehicle I decided to go into the dealership with the vehicle. I was told at first they couldn't help me then they told me they would have the car checked at Good will but they would only check the car out. The salesman called me to let me know the codes had nothing to do with the safe sound operation of the vehicle and the codes were cleared. The shop reported they did a two wheel alignment on the front end but after getting the vehicle back looked at the front driver side tie rod end is bent. The check engine light came back on after starting the car two times after leaving lot. Upon looking at the report I was given about the 23-point good will inspection completed by the shop the codes the car is giving is the P0010 and P0011 cam shaft actuator solenoid. With research on codes found this most common reason for these codes to be together is sludge build up from lack of oil changes, Incorrect camshaft timing,wiring problems(harness/wiring) in intake timing control valve control solenoid system,Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber, Failed timing valve control solenoid (stuck open), Faulty oil control valve (OCV), Open or short in the VVT/VCT circuit, Open or short in the OCV / solenoid valve,Damaged computer (PCM). More
