I travel for my job & I'm hardly ever in my hometown. I told the dealership exactly what I wanted to purchase & the day I needed to pick up the car. They were able to do all my financing wit hometown. I told the dealership exactly what I wanted to purchase & the day I needed to pick up the car. They were able to do all my financing with one phone call. I showed up to pick up my car & it was ready & waiting. It was a very simple & easy process working with them. I have had my car since November & also purchased the wheel & tire coverage. I am now in Texas & got a nail in my tire. I went to the dealership here in San Antonio & was having issues. I called Bob Poynter from San Antonio & they resolved all of my issues in one phone call. They even said the would cover the expense if I did not get it resolved with the wheel & tire coverage I purchased. Bob Poynter goes above & beyond for their customers no matter where you are. Thank you again for your kindness & help. More
In November of 2012 I purchased a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jeff was great to work with, very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy by replacing some missing accessories, f Cherokee. Jeff was great to work with, very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy by replacing some missing accessories, free of charge. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle I started experiencing some major mechanical difficulties with the Jeep. I am very happy to say that although the Jeep was in the service department for about three weeks, Bob Poynter took care of all of the cost except for a small deductible. Service adviser Jared Dickey was very professional and great to work with. Although the issue was very difficult to track down, he made sure that everything was in working order before returning the Jeep back to me. The loaner car that I had was a very clean low mileage car. I have been dealing with Bob Poynter dealerships for 25 years and have always been very satisfied with my experience. This latest episode has proven that Bob Poynter will stand behind the cars that they sell. Great job guys! More

Recently purchased used vehicle at this dealership. After a few weeks there was a minor problem with the electronics, ignition switch. This turned out to be a major problem with 2 tows and ignition After a few weeks there was a minor problem with the electronics, ignition switch. This turned out to be a major problem with 2 tows and ignition module replacement. Total cost was very high by time it was resolved. Poynter's handled the settlement of this repair for us, and we were able to settle the bill locally in Cincinnati. Our heartfelt thanks to this dealership for solving a very expensive and disturbing situation. We felt Chrysler should have handled it, but Mark took on his own to resolve. Highest recommendation for purchase and follow-ups. Wes More
We tried to find a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited for several months. Due to the problems the Manufacturer had obtaining parts there were none availble. So we asked Randy Wetzel to help us find one. With several months. Due to the problems the Manufacturer had obtaining parts there were none availble. So we asked Randy Wetzel to help us find one. Within a week or two they had one on a dealer trade. It was exactly what we wanted except it had a slight flaw, probably from transportation or while sitting on original dealers lot. I did not notice the problem but it was pointed out by Les Solomon. We decided not to take the car but asked them to keep trying. Two weeks later they called and said they had found another car if we still wanted one. The only problem was that it was a 2013 and cheaper. We forced ourselves to look at it, and decided to buy. Due to Poynter's NO HASSLE prices we already had a price we were comfortable with, however due to the problems incurred with finding a vehicle they forced us to accept an even better price than quoted. I was happy to accept. The Sales Manager Randy Wetzel and Salesman Les Solomon were without a doubt the most agreeable and friendly folks I have worked with over fifty odd years of car purchases. In my opinion Poynter Hyundai has at least three great thing going for that are not available in any other brand or dealer in this area. 1. The No Hassle price. This is the way cars should be sold. 2. Randy Wetzel 3. Les Solomon You can't go wrong with them. I did not rate Customer Service or Quality of Work as I have no experience with them as yet. So far every thing has been great. The Sonata is a very nice car to live with. More
Beware, I was completely lied to. They had my car in for three days to do a simple alignment. The General Manager allowed his workers and adviosed his workers to "strap my car in the body rack and tweak the three days to do a simple alignment. The General Manager allowed his workers and adviosed his workers to "strap my car in the body rack and tweak the rear end." They tried to shift the rear axle and mount under pressure. This would not work because the location is aligned by pins (that I am hoping are not now cracked or bent) to the unibody. The general manager tried to say that they only strapped it in the body rack because the service tech was going to "pull the car out of the alignment rack while turning the cam bolts by hand." This was one of many lies. There own paperwork showed that my car left with worse alignment than it went in with. Besides the fact that there alignment machine must be broken as measurements elsewhere are not nearly the same. I had to take my car to another dealer to get what Poynter's dealership had messed up fixed. In the end another dealer discussed my issues with Hyundai and all of my original problems and symptoms were taken care of under warranty. At this point, I still cannot get the rest resovled as the GM is blocking my messages from reaching the owner, I assume. I assume this because the manager clearly told me that he was the only person I was going to talk to after I left a message for the owner, not the manager who took it. This is not the only problem I have had with this dealership, in fact every dealing has been a nightmare. Beware. May I suggest maybe Skillmans in Greenwood. They took very good care of me. More
