My wife and I found a used vehicle online by this dealership. We called to get information about the vehicle and were treated extremely well by the sales person and the manager. We drove from Califor dealership. We called to get information about the vehicle and were treated extremely well by the sales person and the manager. We drove from California to pick-up the vehicle which was intended for our daughter, who is attending college in Colorado Springs. The entire process was very smooth and we were extremely happy with the professionalism of all the people we encountered. We highly recommend this dealer to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and crediability. Ralph, our sales person, was excellent and followed up after the sale even though we were in another state... More

I drove over 800 miles to buy a car at Bob Penkhus advertised on autotrader. I spoke with the internet salesman, Tony Hills, several times about the condition of the car, why the price had been reduce advertised on autotrader. I spoke with the internet salesman, Tony Hills, several times about the condition of the car, why the price had been reduced (he said they reduced it to 'trade-in value' because their dealership was all about moving inventory and having the lowest price.) So I got off work for three days, recruited a friend to go with me and went to get the car. When I arrived the car was dirty and boxed in behind 2 other cars. I had told Tony what time we'd be there and that we only had a couple hours to do the deal, then we had to head back. After about 20 minutes they finally found the keys, we drove it and it was great. When we got back to the dealership, Tony jumped out of the car and ran inside, yelling I'll meet you back inside. I assumed he needed to use the restroom. We didn't see him for another 20 minutes so we waited and someone got us some water. The finance manager, who we didn't know (we were not going to finance anyway) came over and asked us what we were paying for the car. We told him and he promptly left the room. Then Tony came back and said 'Is there a misunderstanding with the price' and I said no and to make a long story short, they did not want to sell the car for the autotrader price. Some manager, the one who sits in his little cage and the salesmen have to ask him permission to do anything, pops out and screams at Tony, with me there, 'No F***ing way she's getting that price!!' And then he repeats himself as if we were deaf. They claimed autotrader screwed up and I requested that autotrader should pay the difference especially since I just drove 800 miles for what I thought was a done deal. It was especially a bummer as this was the exact car I was looking for. All they would offer me was the original price they had offered it at weeks before, and they said they would not sell it for the autotrader price even if autotrader made up the difference. I felt like I was dealing with the biggest bunch of lying, conniving typical used car salesmen scumbags ever. What a waste of my time and money. This is why I typically like to buy my cars from individuals, who have not been specifically trained in lying and deception, and still know that it's better to get a good night's sleep than make an extra buck. (And by the way, the car has been on the lot for at least six weeks now, so it doesn't really seem like they want to move cars.) More
I took my 2001 Mazda Miata LS MX5 in for Mfg. Recall work on Emmissions, and Fog Light sockett holders. They even made me a spare Key with no charge. All work was performed without a charge. The service staff on Emmissions, and Fog Light sockett holders. They even made me a spare Key with no charge. All work was performed without a charge. The service staff was very pleasant.. They prformed the Recall/Reapir work in a timely mannar. They also checked tires, brakes, battery, and all fluid levels for free. They test drove the vehicle and informed me that all was well, including the clutch that I had a concern with. All at no charge!!They also performed a follow up courtesy call to see if I was satisfied with repairs. I was with the exception of the drivers side fog light quit working the 2nd day. I tapped on the lens and it came back on. Time will tell if I continue to have this problem.I live aprox 250 miles away in Aspen, Co. and I was already home when the problem with the fog light occured. Time will tell if it is on-going. I beleave if the problem continues they will fix it with no charge. (time will tell). I highly recomend this dealership at this point in time. More
Not impressed with this dealership at all. They need to change they're slogan...Where "Nobody buys just one". This was the first and last car I bought there. I left my vehicle at the dealership while I tes change they're slogan...Where "Nobody buys just one". This was the first and last car I bought there. I left my vehicle at the dealership while I test drove the car I ended up buying. A book full of CD's was stolen out of my vehicle. I never got reimburst for that. Read the fine print- I told them what I wanted for my trade in, money down and what I wanted my payment to be. I didn't want to roll over any negative debt. When they told me what my payment would be, that part matched, but when I signed all the papers I saw that they didn't hold up the bargain on their end on what they were suppose to pay for the trade in. They rolled over $1800 in negative debt! I bought the car under the condition that a few dings and paint blemishes would be fixed as part of the deal. What an ordeal that was...The first time I dropped off the car I got a loaner. They couldn't get all of the work done so I had to bring it back and had to arrange for a ride (no loaner that time). They did a really shitty job on the repairs they did and as a bonus I got my car back with a chip in one of the side windows that they just tinted! Needless to say, they didn't think they were at fault. I've had one issue after another..When you call the service department the phone just rings on end, when they do pick up they have an attitude. I am so sick of that place that I can't wait to sell my car. I didn't buy a Honda. I bought a Volvo and expected more out of that dealership. I have seen some of the worst customer service there and can't recommend this dealership to anyone. More
