They get one star because I actually eventually got my overcharged money back after a ton of work and perseverance on my end. We bought a Mazda3 2018 about 2 months ago. Either they specifically hire idot overcharged money back after a ton of work and perseverance on my end. We bought a Mazda3 2018 about 2 months ago. Either they specifically hire idots who cannot do basic math or theives, you be the judge. For the short version of the story they hid about 750 dollars extra in the paperwork and kept blowing me off until I walked in and spoke to the general manager and then had to drive to another location to pick up the check with the money they overcharged. The website listed the price if the cst we bought as being 19,441 with the dealer handling fee adding things up to a grand total of 20,128. However on the documents we signed they listed the price as 20,128 and then ADDED the dealer handling fee AGAIN. After noticing this a couple days later and thankfully having saved the original screenshot of the original price, I called the dealership and was told I would be called back. After waiting half an hour I called again only to be told I would now be called back within 30 minutes. After 40 more minutes I called the front desk and asked for the specific dealer we worked with who in turn told me someone would reach out if there was any mistakes. I gave up on that fellow after being told that the finance office has different hours then the dealers and called asking for someone from the finance office and not only discovered that the finance people have the SAME hours (so the other man lied to me) but also was told that I would get my money back as a check in the mail. Sounds moderately ok so far right? The finance guy, who you would think would be capable of including the sales tax they charged me in my refund of overcharged money, said oh yes we will mail you your check of $x dollars. I had to correct him and give him the actual number that included the extra sales tax I was charged. Remember this part of the story later. So 10 days later (it takes 3 days at most to get a letter mailed in town) I called and was told they don't cut checks at their location, forwarding me to another office who never called me back. So next day I drove to the dealership and asked to speak with the general manager. He said he would be going to the office that cuts checks in a couple hours and would make sure my check got signed. So 2 hours AFTER he promised my check would be ready, I walk in and the people there have no idea what I am talking about and that there was no check. I had them call the general manager from the other place and they finally had a check issued to me. I opened it and noticed it was the doubled handling fee minus the sales tax, which had been a good 60 dollars or so. So they went back and got the correct number and I was finally able to go home. I highly doubt I would have recieved my overcharged money back any time within several months if ever if I had not gone to such lengths to correct the "mistake". Car is fine so far but be very careful working with these folks and don't waste your time with phone calls trying to correct anything, just walk in and wait (might be several hours as it was in my case, but at least that is sooner than never). 5 5 My experience at the dealership was great but this survey is ridiculous. Send all the questions at once vs waiting half an hour between them and then saying its been paused survey is ridiculous.
