I brought my car in for an oil change and to figure out why my transmission was causing my car to shift so hard on a Friday morning. The communication while the service center had my car was absolutely terrible. I called multiple times and texted not only the number I was provided but the main dealership number too and no updates. I had to have a friend take me there to find out that my car was still being worked on. I was told that my transmission needed to be serviced and my issue would be resolved. I received a loner car in the meantime and I continued to call and text on Saturday but still no response. They’re closed on Sunday so I had to wait until Monday to figure out what was going on with my car. Finally I was told that everything was fixed. I was also charged for an oil change though I have lifetime oil changes with this dealership and have been using this dealership since July 2017, but now the dealership is saying that I don’t have lifetime oil changes and won’t refund the money. My shifting on my vehicle still isn’t fixed either. Definitely not happy with this service at all!!! More
They went to great lengths correcting a bad situation another dealer put my daughter in and gave me the peace of mind I’ve been missing for the last five months! My salesman, Nick Semyck, worked diligently to find me my CX-5 in the color and with the interior I wanted. He was never pushy but, just answered my questions and let me make my own decision. I used to be a CX-5 in the color and with the interior I wanted. He was never pushy but, just answered my questions and let me make my own decision. I used to be a BMW driver, so a luxury interior was a must! The CX-5 ‘s interior rivals if not exceeds BMW! Thanks Nick for bringing me into the Mazda family. More
The service manager has been a 1/5*. I had brought my car in for a repair on the console buttons in October. Unfortunately they didn’t repair the both parts the first time as the trim attachments may have been “fractured, but not broken”. The service manager was supposed to be looking for the video that showed if the attachments on the inside of the trim piece were broken or not since the repair lasted about a week before it failed when my dog got excited in the car. I haven't heard back for him on whether or not he could tell if the part was broken from the video. He was too busy finding excuses on why he could blame my dog for why the repair didn’t last over a week or two when the original parts lasted 6 years. I get it. You already paid the tech and the service writer who did the original work and who no longer work for you. You paid shop price for the part you put in my car. I just want to know that the repair was a complete repair the first time and that the trim attachments weren’t broken or kinda broken to begin with. I’d have paid to have a complete repair originally and hopefully it would have lasted longer than it did. I’ve been a loyal Bob Penkhus customer for 15+ years and I’m planning on getting a new car in the near future but trying to maintain my current one for a few more months. The first repair cost me a new car payment. This one will cost me one and a half car payments. If you don’t have the proof, please let me know and we can discuss a solution. If you do have the proof, please let me know and we can move on. But hey, when your staff greeted the person who arrived after me with significant VIP service and I got the impression that even asking for a ride was an imposition and it took 5 hours instead of the 2 hours I had been told it would likely take and only 1 repair instead of the 2 that were supposed to be done was done… it hurt a lot to visit your shop. He helped me find the right vehicle for me. I'm happy with my choice. I'm a big guy and comfort is key, and I found that with the mazda cx-50. My favorite vehicle so far. I'm happy with my choice. purchased a used subaru crosstrek, salesman was responsive and adaptable. part was my not fully checking vehicle over although sales man certified everything worked. got home 4 hours away to learn responsive and adaptable. part was my not fully checking vehicle over although sales man certified everything worked. got home 4 hours away to learn the horn didn't work and the car did not come with a jack luckily there was no emergency on the drive home. the sales man had assured me they have a 156 point inspection, funny though that 2 main safety items were not addressed in that 156 point inspection, contacted sales man 2 weeks ago have only heard crickets chirping. Not to impressed with responsiveness and adaptability after car was sold. finance dept, tried adding a 400 dollar uptick to total price, told me it was for additional taxes, later told me (after he removed it) was for some extra warranty.
