I came into Bob Moore looking to trade in my old car for a 2012 Subaru. After finding out that the online price and features for the 2012 I was looking at were listed wrong (problem 1), I settled on a 2013, a 2012 Subaru. After finding out that the online price and features for the 2012 I was looking at were listed wrong (problem 1), I settled on a 2013, which ended up being cheaper anyway. I told them an exact number I wanted for my trade-in. They fed me some line about how they sell trucks faster than they sell cars, and I accepted less than I originally wanted for my trade (problem 2). Then, since I know someone who was interested in going in to buy the car I had just traded to Bob Moore, we looked up the online price -- not only do they have my old car listed online with features that it doesn't have (problem 3), they have it marked at $5k over what they valued it at trade (problem 4), which means they easily could have given me what I requested for the trade in the first place. I understand needing to run a business and make money off of used vehicles, but in combination with the many "false advertisements" on the online listings, the whole pricing experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, and they haven't paid off trade-in yet. Now that I have the cons out the way, let's look at the pros. I felt that everyone I encountered, with the exception of the on-floor finance guy, were very, very nice (the sales manager, or on-floor finance guy, whoever, was in his office smiling after I accepted the trade in, which made me feel like I had been taken advantage of). I actually dealt with multiple sales people in the one night as they were all extremely busy. While I stood around for a fair amount, or waited 15 minutes to do my finance paperwork, I did walk out there feeling as though I had been taken care of or at least acknowledged while I was waiting. I did, overall, have an exceptional sales experience. I didn't feel pressured, and I felt like my concerns were acknowledged. Even the finance experience was good -- they were really backed up, but they did their best to get everyone processed quickly. Ultimately, I'm happy I bought a car from Bob Moore because of the free service up to 24k miles, as well as all the added benefits of being a Subaru owner. I just wish I would have sold my car somewhere else. I'd say my overall experience was good, and I would recommend Bob Moore to anyone seeking a new car without a trade in. I would not recommend trading your vehicle to them. More
After having purchased a Subaru Forester from Dustin almost 3 1/2 years ago, he sent me an email in early December 2012 regarding the end of the year Subaru Sale. Initially, I didn't pay much attention almost 3 1/2 years ago, he sent me an email in early December 2012 regarding the end of the year Subaru Sale. Initially, I didn't pay much attention and trashed the email. However, a couple of weeks later, I became curious as I have always liked the newer Outbacks. Dustin worked with me extremely well, no pressure, fair price and fair trade-in for my Forester. We purchased our 2013 Outback on December 31st and were "EXTREMLY" happy with our sales experience. Now the down side, after the sales process was done, we got to go to do the paperwork and UNFORTUNATELY "TIM" was the person that we had to deal with on this. "TIM" was rude, treated us as we had no clue as to what we were doing, lied to us about the payoff balance on our Forester, tried to sneak in extra charges for 4 different types of extended warranties, etc... After this fiasco was said and done and we were getting down to finalizing the deal. "Tim" had the audacity to attempt to have us sign the finance papers for monthly payment amount almost $100 higher than it should have been for the % rate that we were given. When confronted, he again had the "xxxxx" to ask how I know what the payment should be, like he was the only "idiot" that could figure or read amortization schedules. Once this was completed and we had our new Outback home, the next week, "Tim" called to inquire if we had the "originals" of the paperwork. Again this idiot had lost these papers, and I was asked to come to the dealership to "again" sign the paperwork. Now once this was completed, he again had the audacity to ask about my wife coming also coming into sign her portion of the papers. This took well over a week to get accomplished as she is a very busy executive. Not once did "Tim" offer to come to her office to have her sign the papers. Consequently - We are very happy with our new Outback. BUT if we ever had to deal with "Tim" again, we would say "xxxx no" and walk out with our old car! More
2nd auto purchased from Moore Group in 4 years, good experience both times. Very friendly staff, less pressure that most other dealers. Danny Stapp, the sales manager, also greeted us and I believe the Subaru general manager, if memory serves, greeted us and gave us assurances. Unfortunately I can't recall his name, but he was very pleasant nonetheless. Overall the entire experience and the people we worked with were very pleasing. More
Was very pleased with my looking for a new car at Bob Moore. Was not pressured by anyone, especially Alex, Had questions about comparing Subaru with other makes i was considering, and other dealers. Alex actually helped me look up others brands so i could compare mpg and prices as well as ratings and saftey of each vehicle. Showed me around dealership and introduced me to who would be working with in future. I,e oil changes, service etc. Would recommend friends and family to visit this dealership and meet with Alex for their next car purchase. Thank you More
I worked with Jason Webb, He was a joy to work with. He was funny, very friendly, honest and very professional.
