I’m 70 years old and have always been a careful driver and responsible car owner. I recently took my new Cadillac in for service at Bob Moore Cadillac in Norman and was provided a loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on. While driving the loaner on I-35 during a heavy rainstorm, I exited onto Robinson Street—and suddenly, the car shut down completely. It was terrifying. I was alone, stuck on the side of a busy road in a severe storm, and had to wait hours for a tow truck. I stayed calm and assumed the issue was simply a mechanical failure. To my shock, I later received a call from the dealership claiming the engine had suffered water damage and that I was responsible. They insisted I had driven through floodwaters—which I absolutely did not. At no point did I see deep water, flood warnings, or anything beyond normal storm runoff. There were no signs, no standing water, and no indication the road was unsafe. Without warning, the dealership filed a nearly $10,000 claim on my insurance—before even diagnosing the vehicle or informing me of the situation. I was never given a chance to see the damage, ask questions, or even pay out of pocket. This was done entirely behind my back, and now I’m facing the possibility of increased premiums and a black mark on my record. I originally contacted the Edmond location, but was referred to Norman due to a past issue with an advisor. Looking back, I wish I had trusted my instincts and gone elsewhere. What’s been most upsetting is the way I’ve been treated by management. The Service Manager, Jerry, and another manager, Barrett, have shown zero empathy or concern. I wasn’t asking for special treatment—just to be heard and treated with fairness and basic respect. Instead, I was met with coldness, blame, and a complete lack of accountability. I’m not sharing this out of anger, but out of deep disappointment. At my age, it’s already challenging enough to navigate situations like this on your own. I trusted this dealership and believed they would do the right thing. Instead, I feel used and taken advantage of. Please think twice before trusting Bob Moore Cadillac in Norman—or Edmond if Barrett oversees that location too. What happened to me could happen to anyone. And no one deserves to be treated this way. I also got my vehicle back and check engine light was back on. I took elsewhere and it was resolved in less than 10 min. BOB MOORE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE and RUDE in all forms. More
I recently had my new Cadillac in for service at Bob Moore in Norman. While my vehicle was being serviced, they provided me with a loaner car. While driving the loaner on I-35, I exited at Robinson Street in Norman, and the vehicle suddenly died. It was raining heavily at the time, and I was left stranded on the side of the road for hours in the rain waiting on a tow. The car was towed back to the dealership, and later I received a call saying the engine had water damage and I was being held liable for supposedly driving through floodwaters. I want to be very clear: I never drove through a flooded area or even a large puddle. Despite this, they decided to file a claim on my insurance, which is likely to increase my rates—something I find completely unfair and upsetting. As a 70-year-old woman, I feel like I am being taken advantage of. This entire situation has been frustrating and disheartening. I didn’t even want my car serviced at the Norman location to begin with—I initially contacted the Edmond store but was told I’d need to work with a new advisor in Norman because my last experience had also been negative due to rude treatment. I should have trusted my instincts and taken my vehicle elsewhere. If Cadillac vehicles are so vulnerable that they can’t be driven in heavy rain without risk of engine damage, customers should be warned. The Service Manager, Jerry Cantrell, and the Higher up manager, Barrett, have both been unhelpful and dismissive, showing no accountability and treating me rudely throughout this process. This has been a deeply disappointing experience with terrible customer service. I would not recommend Bob Moore Cadillac in Norman to anyone. More
I spoke with the sales department to inquire about a vehicle. We worked out a deal and they had me drive from Texas to Oklahoma that night. When I got there, the vehicle was not in their possession. I could have signed documents electronically to secure the sale. I purchased the car feb 22,2022 and today is April 15,2022 and the dealership has not even sent in the appropriate documents to the state of Texas to ensure I could register my car. I called the dealership and they refused to provide a paper tag so I would not get pulled over while waiting. I will never use this dealership again. More
I have bought a 2011 Cadillac there and had good service. Then I bought a 2005 Corvette Nov 2018 right before Thanksgiving. Everything was fine until I took it back a week later to have the new front brakes installed. I pulled out of the service area after being serviced, Mirror fell off someone broke it detailing it. So they ordered. Then I left the service area again an Almost got on interstate I-35 thank God I didn't. Took a side road back home, heard a pop. I left a stop sign an got to about 45 mph the front end started shaking bad so I hit the brakes to slow. BLAM front tire come off I slid sideway into on coming traffic. Tire blew the fender off an I was wedge against the drivers door. I was lucky no one hit me. Dealer failed to tighten the drivers side lug nuts. Took 6 weeks to get my Vette back. I will NEVER do business with these folks again. Then 6 months later they had the nerve to call me to bring my Caddy and Vette in for service. LOL More

I just recently purchased a 2018 Cadillac Escalade in Nov 2018 at Central Houston Cadillac. They took good care of me with my purchase so I decided to give them the 1st shot at the deal. Unfortunately my original Sales person and Sales manager I worked with is no longer with the company but one of the Sales Manager was still working there so I told him what I was looking for and he went to located the vehicle for me and found it. He then sent me the price quote sheet and from what I can see he was charging me full MSRP so I called and asked why? His answer was why would he sell this car for less when he can sell it for full price. This was his answer after I told him what a great dealer they have how his sales team helped me with my new purchased. So guess what I did, the big mistake he made was including the Vin # of the vehicle so I googled it and found the car sitting at Bob Moore Cadillac at Norman, OK. One thing stood out is that I’ve purchased a Porsche before From Bob Moore of Porsche. So I called Bob Moore Cadillac and mentioned what had happened. I spoke to Mory and right away we hit it off. Mory took great care of me as a repeat customer. He provided the same quality service as I received when I purchased my Porsche. I drove 6hrs to OK to pick up the car. I got to the dealer at 8:30AM and I was welcomed by Thi and he took the time to answer all my questions and went thru all the paperwork. It was my daughter’s birthday and they even had me pick out something from the Gift Shop as a Thank you. So I wanted to take this time again to Thank Bob Moore Cadillac Specially to Mory and Thi for the great service. I wished the dealer was her in Houston as they need more people like them here. More

Sold me an unsafe car Bought a 2012 Dodge Charger Super Bee. Expected it to pass inspection. One rear lug nut was missing and the wheel nut stub was stripped. Oklahoma has no inspection requirements. Texas does. I should not have driven two hours to buy a car that my shop has now found to be “unsafe”. Perhaps Bob Moore dealerships should at least inspect the vehicles they sell..... clearly they do not. Not happy...... More
