THE BEST SERVICE EVER!! I have been to a lot of dealerships and delt with a lot of service people but NEVER ONE QUITE LIKE JIM W. He went above and beyond like nothing I have I have been to a lot of dealerships and delt with a lot of service people but NEVER ONE QUITE LIKE JIM W. He went above and beyond like nothing I have ever seen. When my aftermarket warrenty tried to weasel out of paying Jim and his team proved my case to them and had them cover my claim!! I have NEVER in all my years EVER had a service department like Bob Maxey. They go above and beyond a service department these people Jim and his term get it. They are 100% for there costumers and go above and beyond! I have had many different brands of vehicles and it all starts out the same way great sales people but then the times comes to get service!! 😱🤬and I would rather get a colonoscopy awake than to deal with service people that know nothing about car and trucks they just know what the mechanic told them oh and they don’t think warranty will cover it??? The story of my life!! Bob Maxey Ford and Jim W. Will leave you speechless no fighting no hassling just the truth great communication and no Drama!! I can’t believe I’m writing this but it’s the Truth!! Bob Maxey’s service department and Jim W. Are definitely MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!! The best dealership service experience I have ever had in 50years!! I must also add Rick the transmission mechanic he explained what happened to my trans to me but also my warranty company that tried everything in there power NOT TO COVER MY Claim!! But Jim and Rick the transmission guy and the person responsible for putting them into there position at Bob Maxy are super hero’s to me!! I have already switched people from my family and office to your dealership 1000% because of your SERVICE DEPARTMENT JIM W! A Real life SUPER SERVICE HERO!! Thank you Bob Maxey. I feel sorry for the other ford dealer down the street if there costumers ever find out about the service department AND Jim W. at BOB MAXEY it’s GAME OVER THEY WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER AGAIN!! I phoned Saturday morning and had it fixed at 1 pm that day! I am very grateful! More
Vibration Had a vibration on my 2016 from day one. At 6000 miles (at which point the truck was one year old BTW) took it in and a road force balance greatly imp Had a vibration on my 2016 from day one. At 6000 miles (at which point the truck was one year old BTW) took it in and a road force balance greatly improved the problem, enough that I wrote it off as a characteristic of an F350. Roll forward to May 2019 while doing an oil change I requested balance and rotate. Now we’re at about 15K miles BTW, so not a highly used or abused truck. I noticed nothing leaving Maxey and heading back to South Lyon...until the next morning when I went out and as I was getting on 96 I realized the steering wheel was not shaking but oscillating. It cleared up but still felt weird. On my return trip it happened again and I drove straight to Maxey, knowing there was a tire issue, and had them rotate the tires back. It took two additional visits to finally identify two “bad” tires - they would “balance” fine but their road force numbers indicated they would also put forces into the chassis which when the tires phased together, since corners cause one to roll farther than the other, the vibration was irritating. I don’t think the tech got it at first but Jim took the time to drive some extra time and once he felt it the problem was going to be solved! As I write this I’m 400 miles into a drive to Florida with a loaded 24’ trailer, which I have done twice this year prior to the repair, and the truck is smooth! Lincoln MKZ Had the WORKS done. It was done timely and everything was described as perfect. Two days later the AC quit. The car has less than 40,000 mi Had the WORKS done. It was done timely and everything was described as perfect. Two days later the AC quit. The car has less than 40,000 miles so AC quitting surprised me, especially after being described as perfect. I do not blame Maxey but timing looked bad. Maxey is easy to deal with. Unless a dealer is head and shoulders above the competition I make no recommendations which is why I put no on would I recommend Maxey. I wouldn't tell anyone not to use Maxey. More
Just in time I was preparing to leave town and my "check charging station" light came on. I was able to get the car diagnosed and then fixed by the end of the nex I was preparing to leave town and my "check charging station" light came on.
