Great Customer Service I recently took my 2013 Ford Focus in for an oil change and wheel alignment and also to remove a hanging portion of the exhaust heat shield from the u I recently took my 2013 Ford Focus in for an oil change and wheel alignment and also to remove a hanging portion of the exhaust heat shield from the undercarriage. The work was done promptely and correctly. Further, although I declined to have the damaged heat shield replaced (car is old and has a lot of miles and so I could not justify the cost for a non-essential repair) the service personnel still removed the dangling damaged shield free of charge and did not try to up sell me on what was essentially an unnecessary repair by replacing the shield. I have bought three cars from Bob Maxey Ford of Howell, including my Focus and I have had nothing but great customer service from both their Sales and Service departments. A very satisfied customer. More

Dumbfounded! I had my oil changed and well two days later I went into the back seat and found a brand new oil filter still in the box laying on the seat. I didn't I had my oil changed and well two days later I went into the back seat and found a brand new oil filter still in the box laying on the seat. I didn't call and ask due to the problem I had with my truck that I had taken in on the same day. They kept my truck for three days to trouble shoot the air conditioning not working. Dropped it off on Friday and agreed they could keep it until Monday. His reasoning for wanting to keep it until Monday was to troubleshoot, which sounded very reasonable. When I didn't hear anything by 5 pm on Monday I called and was informed they hadn't even looked at it and was informed they had all the time they needed! I informed them no that was not the case. The service person then gave a bunch of excuses which I interrupted him and said I needed to go on a trip when will you look at it. He informed me first thing Tuesday. The service person called me Tuesday morning around 10 am and informed me the a/c was low on fluid, they filled it re-pressuredized it or whatever they do and the truck was ready! During the whole time I communicated with the service person I felt like I was talked to like I didn't know a thing about anything and I could tell it was a massive snow job. Well after the issue with my truck I didn't want to go through that again. I ended up taking my car to a reputable auto mechcanic who couldn't tell if the oil filter installed on the car was new or not because of the weather we have had. The oil on the dip stick look ok he said but then again he couldn't tell. I had to go on a trip so will have the oil changed again when I get into Virginia. So as of now I don't know if the oil was changed or not! More
