Taken for a Ride: Destination $925 Oil Change Took my car here for an oil change. It was driving fine but the oil light came on. When I brought it in they told me that "two other lights should hav Took my car here for an oil change. It was driving fine but the oil light came on. When I brought it in they told me that "two other lights should have been on" and next thing I know I agreed to them "changing out all the fluids" and replacing 1 filter. Charge: $300. They must have figured me for a sucker because when i picked up the car they told me that all the brake pad were shot. That was news to me, but when I drove it home that night the brakes were metal on metal. I honestly think they switched out my pads for worn ones. I had to take it back and they told me that the brakes were so bad they "tried to cut the rotors" (whatever that means) but had to replace them., al the pads, and the fluid instead. Cost: $625. There was NOTHING wrong with the brakes when I took it in for the oil change. You hear stories about dealers breaking things when you go in, but this was particularly obvious. They denied any wrongdoing of course. The Service Department At Beaverton Honda used to be great, but about a year ago they closed the separate facility and made it part of the Sales Department. Now every time I go in I get some swarmy guy I've never seen before telling me a bunch of gobbledygook designed to confuse and frighten customers. No puns intended: steer clear on this oily place. Replaced downsized tires at complimentary rotation Came to service for transmission fluid flash and agreed to complimentary tire rotation and balancing. After service I got to Firestone for wheel align Came to service for transmission fluid flash and agreed to complimentary tire rotation and balancing. After service I got to Firestone for wheel alignment check, and they discovered that tires are different sizes. Before Beaverton Honda rotation all tires was 225/60/16 but after rotation 2 rear tires 215/65/16 with critically dangerous unsafe damage. Now wheel alignment is not possible. More

Problem Immediately Addressed Recently, I dropped into Honda to have my passenger side mirror fixed and was told I would have to replace the entire mirror to the tune of $500.00. Recently, I dropped into Honda to have my passenger side mirror fixed and was told I would have to replace the entire mirror to the tune of $500.00. It was missing a screw and shook when I was driving. After placing a complaint, Matt contacted me shortly and resolved the issue by ordering a new part and using the screw in the new part. Needless to say, I was very grateful for his creativity and thoughtfulness. He was so polite and kept in contact with me through the whole process....supervising the ordering and fixing of my car. He went beyond the extra mile. He went an extra hundred miles and HE MADE MY DAY! Thank you, Matt, for being so polite and so helpful. I have been a long time customer of Beaverton Honda and certainly will continue to be, thanks to Matt. More

This must be the operating procedure of Beaverton Honda now that they have moved to their beautiful location and have their "latte snack bar" and numerous large screen televisions. It is the "Honda Experience." My "Honda Experience" is one where little people run around with little ipads photographing your car and wasting precious time. I went in without an appointment because my driver side mirror had lost a screw and it was shaking. I was afraid it might fall off on my way home. Having dealt with Beaverton Honda for so many years, I was incorrect in assuming that they might help me with this problem since it was a danger. However, I was informed of the following: !. I needed to make an appointment 2. My car was 13 years old. 3. They don't carry that particular screw. 4. I will have to replace my side mirror to the tune of over $500.00 5. They could not go through 1000 screws to find the right one for me as it would be too time consuming. Now, we'll see if THIS review disappears. In that case, I will contact the Better Business Bureau. More

Great Service Department in Newberg, OR Aaron and the service staff at Bob Lanphere's in Newberg were first-rate all the way through a tough situation. Quick Flat Tire Fix Pulled into express service in the evening after the normally do flat fixes to address TPMS activationd and hissing sound from tire.
