Cant give zero star! I am sure you will enjoy your experience purchasing a car from here but once they have your money in your pocket they treat you like waste. They have never fixed an ongoing electrical issue even when it was under warranty. Yesterday my folks (who bought me the Sorento) went in with me to see if they would once and for all resolve a problem they have literally only bandaided everytime I took it it in. I have a picture of a melted connector due to inaccurate wiring and they STILL WONT acknowledge it. They said it would now cost $170 an hour to look into it!! Anyone who considers buying a car from here I am sure the sales people will go above and beyond to make sure they make a sale. Once the money is in the bank, your nothing but a waste. My folks wanted to buy me another care before leaving because of the age of my car and issues that are not being fixed. I refused to let them spend their money there!! Not even a free car was worth anymore of my time with them! Free car for me and I said "Nope, not from here!". And to add....years ago, I was told 'to my face' while sitting in the lobby that 'i lied' about having the electric starter put in when the car was ordered. Went out to my car to retrieve the work order to show him I was not lying!! Kid didnt know what to say!! Tyoical car dealership devilment that gets them these bad reviews and a loss of a sale. More
It's hard to adequately express how frustrated I am by the service, or lack thereof, I have gotten recently at Dorschel (now Bob Johnson) Kia. But I'll try: Several weeks ago, the check engine light came the service, or lack thereof, I have gotten recently at Dorschel (now Bob Johnson) Kia. But I'll try: Several weeks ago, the check engine light came on in my 2015 Kia Soul, which has around 79K miles on it and been regularly maintained. I took it to Dorschel and was told it was extremely low on oil as a result of the car's engine burning oil at an accelerated rate. I was further told, much to my shock, that the engine likely would need to be replaced and that Kia would do it ... under certain oil-burning parameters that only make sense to Kia. I was instructed to continue driving the car and bring it to the dealership every 1,000 miles to have the rate of oil consumption checked. I already had done that twice and planned to take it in again midweek this week when I estimated I'd hit the 1,000-mile mark again. But yesterday, having driven less than 800 miles since the previous check, the check oil light started flashing. The person who answered the Dorschel service desk phone this morning advised me not to drive the car, so I'm stuck. I have left five voicemail messages for the service person I have been dealing with since this fiasco began and the service manager and haven't heard back from either of them. Not even an "We're extremely busy today, but we're going to call you back ASAP with a solution" courtesy-type call. An appalling lack of response. More

Coil spring Brought my Kia Cadenza in to have a noise checked that turned out to be a coil spring that broke. They got me an enterprise rent a car because the part was not in stock. That was very nice of them I thought. After a few days go by they still don’t have the part. I tell them I work on a boat and will be leaving on the ninth day in the shop. They say I can keep the car for that period. Again nice. Turned out I flew to my boat and had the car returned. After two and a half weeks, they call after I has been calling the service manager everyday for four days with no return call they call and say they got the spring and replaced it. And as they are driving it out of the garage the other side spring breaks. Now I have to wait again for who no’s how long because they only got one spring.sounds fishy. This is my third dealing with them. First when I bought the car I was promised several free oil changes. But because the salesperson that sold me the car quit. They gave me one. Guess they thought I was lying. Way to get repeat business. Should have got it in writing the manager said. Next I have a squeak it the front seat spring. They check it out and say I they have to take the seat out so I say that I will bring it back. When I do I leave it all day and they say we couldn’t find the squeak. It was there when you said you had to remove the seat! Again I must be lying. I’ll let you know how this turns out but it’s not looking good. Tomorrow will be three weeks and counting. More
Nightmare Where to start. Service manager called after reading my 1st review and asked me to bring my car in to take another look at the headlights & turn signa Where to start. Service manager called after reading my 1st review and asked me to bring my car in to take another look at the headlights & turn signals kept burning out after several attempts to repair them. Somewhere along the lines I was told the connector WAS replaced on driver side. Come to find out when Midas looked at it....the connector was burnt! Dorschel did install a new bulb and bulb holder after my first review. This fixed it but then the driver side Fog Light went out (which I had never used them for 5 yrs I have had the car but had to when headlight was out). And then while in the body shop they noticed the passenger headlight was out, AGAIN. Car was taken from body shop to service where I then went to pick it up. When I started the car the check engine light was on! So it was pulled back in and they claim it has to do with the oil filter that was purchased and put in at another shop. They wanted to charge me for THEIR filter and oil to see if that fixed the check engine light. AND to top it all off....my electric starter wasn't working anymore!! They claimed I didn't get the starter through them and they had NEVER seen a device like the one installed. About 20 minutes later they bring an invoice out for the installation from when I bought the car! After being there for 4.5 hours my car was still not ready and I had to leave on foot to meet my ride. Dorschel is clearly not capable of fixing the problem. 8/18 Wish there was an option for -5 stars. My experience with Dorscel Kia and now recently Vision Kia, since I bought my Sorento new in 2013 has been a living nightmare. There is constantly something wrong with the car and they have not permanently fixed any of them and now that my warranty has expired I have been paying to have the SAME things "fixed". Worst part is that they have charged me for work they claimed they did but didn't. I have taken pictures of these things and filed a case with KIA headquarters. More
