Drove over 2 hrs. to purchase a vehicle that they said had already been sold between 9 a.m and 11:15 when I got there, seriously doubt it! Total BS bait & switch tactics on their part... Of course they ha had already been sold between 9 a.m and 11:15 when I got there, seriously doubt it! Total BS bait & switch tactics on their part... Of course they had a couple other cars there that were similar to the one I had talked to the sales rep about. Then had to drive another 2 hrs. to get home. Wish I had listened to all the bad reviews on them in the 1st place, but was thinking what the heck, all I'm doing is buying the car there. Will never go back or recommend them!!! More
Dave Smith, Dick Miller, and the rest of the team at Bob Bell Used Car Sales have been incredible to work with. They were genuine and upfront from the beginning, providing a very different experience than Bell Used Car Sales have been incredible to work with. They were genuine and upfront from the beginning, providing a very different experience than what we experienced elsewhere as we looked for a used car for our family. They are clearly proud of the company and represent it very well. Not only were they very professional in helping us get the car we wanted at a fair price, they have been great in terms of getting an issue corrected that none of us could have anticipated. I believe another dealer would have washed their hands of us at the first sign of a problem. Bob Bell has not. I know where would buy from again and know who I will recommend to any of my friends and family in the area. Thank you! More
Was approved for a loan and found the car I liked on their website. Contacted Dave several times to set up a test drive and go ahead with a purchase. After several attempts he told me to come in on a Sa their website. Contacted Dave several times to set up a test drive and go ahead with a purchase. After several attempts he told me to come in on a Saturday to finish everything and the car was already sold, best part, he couldn't even tell me himself. Horrible customer service all the way around, would never go back. I should not have to chase around the salesman for a purchase from their lot. Completely ridiculous More
Total rip off when you get your car serviced in the shop!. They charge you with labor price twice the amount. If the service was 200$, Steve charges you 400$. Stay away!!!!. Daryl from the shop is good shop!. They charge you with labor price twice the amount. If the service was 200$, Steve charges you 400$. Stay away!!!!. Daryl from the shop is good to work with but Steve is a total rip off. Beware he charges you with Diagnostic fee even if you get your car fixed at their shop where as other dealers and shops out there waive this fee just because you got your car serviced there. Also they rotated my tires for a fee even though I serviced the car, which is usually done for free with a service at NTB/Merchant tires. I strongly DO NOT recommend and I know I am not going back ever!!! More
I originally came to Bob Bell Ford/Hyundai/Kia to buy a new Hyundai. Ray Kaz was my salesman and he did everything he could to find me the vehicle I wanted. Ray was professional, friendly and very accomoda new Hyundai. Ray Kaz was my salesman and he did everything he could to find me the vehicle I wanted. Ray was professional, friendly and very accomodating. He explained to me all my options, both financially and vehicle-wise. However after reassessing my finances I realized that I could only afford used vehicle. Ray then turned me on to Dick Miller. Dick had the exact vehicle I wanted in his Used Cars lot. After filling out the paperwork/application for financing, Dick was extremely helpful in working his magic for me to have the monthly payments which I could afford, especially when it came to how much I was going to get for my trade-in. He literally bent over backwards to make this work for me and I am very thankful! Even the finance manager was super friendly and made sure that I didn't leave the dealership without the amazing bumper-to-bumper warranty that Hyundai offers. He made this possible by 'tweaking' the numbers on my loan application to end up with the payments which I could afford and which I had discussed earlier with Dick Miller. Overall, Bob Bell Ford/Hyundai/Kia was the BEST dealership that I've ever bought a car from and I am definitely going back to buy my next car! THANKS RAY & DICK! You guys did a GREAT JOB and made me VERY HAPPY! More
I have been having my car serviced at this dealership since 2006. I am always greeted well and profesionally. I get all my maintenance done here. In fact I had a concern and was prepared to pay when Mr. since 2006. I am always greeted well and profesionally. I get all my maintenance done here. In fact I had a concern and was prepared to pay when Mr. Tappa explained it was covered under my warranty. They know who I am when I come in and get me in and out. I usually wait for the car to be done, but once, I had to leave it and they offered me a loaner an no extra cost. Can't really say enough about the place. Very good dealership to deal with. And at my age, I have dealt with many, from Houston Texas to York Pa. and everywhere in between. Thanks to the entire Bob Bell family. More
I would not recommend this dealership at all! My fiancee and I had went in to look for a vehicle for her. We took two vehicles for a test drive, then we were told we had to do a credit check. My fiancee was and I had went in to look for a vehicle for her. We took two vehicles for a test drive, then we were told we had to do a credit check. My fiancee was not pleased with either vehicle she test drove. Instead of trying to find a car that fit around my fiancees' work, school, and day to day activities they were trying to just "get a sale". When they pulled her credit history, she has very limited credit, we were told "you have a problem" who in their right frame of mind would tell a customer you have a problem. Then to be told that we would not be able to co-sign for a loan due to us not living together. From the start niether of us felt comfortable dealing with this sales representative. And to basically be told go ahead and go elsewhere because you will be back is outright insulting. I understand as a car salesman you are commission based and my fiancee and I may not have been buying an expensive vehicle, it is nice to be treated as though you are wanted as a customer. I did not get that experience at all. I have gone a long enough rant, plain and simple Bob Bell Ford - You will never get any of my business. In the grand scheme of things I may not effect your business, but I will do whatever it takes to tell friends and family, not to go to you business for a new or used vehicle. More
I was completely ripped off by this dealership, they installed used parts on my brand new veichle !!!!!!!! Then i returned to get my first oil change and tire rotation (only reason i went there was b/c installed used parts on my brand new veichle !!!!!!!! Then i returned to get my first oil change and tire rotation (only reason i went there was b/c it was complementary) and after waiting 8 hours in their poorly decorated, plain, and uncomfortable waiting room, the work was not performed. I secretly marked the oil filter with a sharpie and marked the tires with chalk on the inside and when i got the vehicle back everything was the same. NOTHING HAD BEEN CHANGED OR ROTATED !!!!! I went to service writer, cashier, manager and general manger and No one could help or explain. Wrote a letter to Ford and they said theres nothing they could do b/c each dealership is individually and privately owned. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Thank you to Rob Myers and Dick Miller of Bob Bell for making our used car buying experience painless. Went in with a specific problem — engine missing due to degradation caused by leaking valve cover gasket and oil contamination. Got a phone call back stating that it would cost ~$1,000 to "fix the pro degradation caused by leaking valve cover gasket and oil contamination. Got a phone call back stating that it would cost ~$1,000 to "fix the problem". Detailed estimate had the dealer replacing the gasket, ignition wires, spark plugs, and doing a general oil cleanup in the area. Also, there were $400 in line items for "injection system cleaning" and "major tuneup". Now, it was probably true that I needed a new valve cover gasket, ignition wires, and maybe spark plugs. I'll never know. The "injection system cleaning" and "major tuenup" charges were bogus. I resent the implication that these were necessary to fix the problem. I also resent the ~$600 charge for parts and labor that could have been done for half-price at a local repair shop. Mostly I resent the implication that I could be taken for a sucker by claiming that 1,000 would be "necessary" to fix my car's problem. The $1,000 estimate contained a lot of padding. I ended up paying ~$600 for the "truly necessary" repairs (which were done very well). I couldn't back out because I would have to pay a $90 (?) diagnosis fee. An elderly or naive customer could have been taken for $1,000 for repairs that could be done elsewhere at $300. I left with the feeling that this dealer's repair shop could not be trusted to minimize their customers' repair costs. More
