Customer service was horrible, the receptionist was worst. Then they tried to charge$130 for a diagnostic and never told me i would be charged for it. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy....well maybe my worst, but if you care about courtesy, customer service, or respect of human beings DO NOT GO HERE!!! More

Don't Buy from Bob Bell On 17 January 2019 I bought a 2016 Scion iM from Bob Bell Automotive, 7900 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224-2125 for our daughter in her last year On 17 January 2019 I bought a 2016 Scion iM from Bob Bell Automotive, 7900 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224-2125 for our daughter in her last year at college. We had done quite a bit of online searching and some communication with various dealers, on several different models before we went to look at the Scion iM. We were in contact with the dealership before driving to it. Once we arrived, we were introduced to a Ms. D (name not included here), salesperson. Ms. D had one of the lot people bring the car to the front of the dealership. After several minutes, and getting some gas it started to snow, finally we were taken to the car. Don’t know why we bothered to call since the car wasn’t ready to be seen nor driven till after we arrived. The car was now started, I took a quick look around the car, popped the hood, and for what I could see everything looked OK. As I was leaving the front of the car I very quickly checked the depth of the tire thread on the front driver’s side tire, and it felt OK. We all got into the car, and I took if for a short test drive down the road, and as the snow continued decided to drive it back to the dealership. Everything seemed OK during the test drive. So, like any dealer they wanted to see the car sold that night, and upon some negotiation we made the deal. We didn’t plan to purchase, so I didn’t have the cash with me from a car I just sold. We financed several thousand, and made a deal for the salesperson to meet us midway between the dealership, and our residence a few days later. Since the car is a 2016 Scion iM and only 31000 miles at the time of our purchase, from what we considered a trusted auto dealer, I never expected the following. After we completed the paperwork, and they put the new license plate on the car, along with the sales paperwork I drove the car to our home. During the drive on the highway I quickly realized, at highway speeds, the car drifted to the right. The next morning after the snow and rain I took a closer look at all the tires. The passenger side tire was visibly rounded on the outer edge, and the treads on the other two rear tires didn’t look good. So, we took the car to a nearby Mr. Tire to check the tires, and alignment. The tire store called me a short time later clearly stating two of the tires would not pass an inspection, and were dangerous to drive. He also indicated the front alignment needed to be corrected. I have all the paperwork showing the results, and information regarding the tires. So, I had two of the least expensive tires installed, and the front end aligned. While this was being done, I contacted the dealership, and spoke with the salesperson. She clearly stated the dealership would make good for the tires, and alignment. My gut tells me she had not likely spoken with the management, but we trusted her. She also still needed to collect several thousand dollars from me as part of the purchase agreement of the iM. So, she might have likely promised me the moon, and never intended to deliver. Along with the tires, I also noticed that the rocker panel on the driver’s side looked lose. After closer inspection, and bringing it to a Toyota dealership they indicated, and showed us, that the rocker panel was broken, and could not be repaired, but would rather need to be replaced. I quickly found out why the dealer also neglected to replace it as it is a $500.00 + dollar item if bought from Toyota. During this time, I called, and emailed the salesperson who has left the dealership, and gone into real-estate. She never indicated to me she was leaving the dealership. I had already taken all the receipts for the work, and tires purchased, and forwarded it to the salesperson before she left. She told us the receipts had been received and forwarded to management and we would be reimbursed for the tires, and alignment. We were willing to settle for that. However, the check never came. I’ve since called the dealership, emailed the dealership the receipts, and still have no response at all, nothing from anyone at the dealership. It was one of the operators, or front desk employees who told me over the phone that the salesperson we had purchased the car from had quit, and now works in real-estate. I have emailed, and forwarded the information to the used, and new car managers, and still no response. So, now after waiting, and giving the dealership the benefit of the doubt, nearly three months of no response I felt I had little recourse other than to share my story with anyone who might consider doing any business with this dealership. Shame on me, for not walking away and requesting a pre-purchase inspection before putting any money down on the car especially from this dealership. I seriously recommend you take your business elsewhere, or have a complete car inspection before purchasing a used car or anything from this dealership. It is extremely disappointing when you expect better from a new car/used car licensed dealer. I would say you could do much better, save money, buying a used car in a private sale given the way this new car dealer treats people. I wish all the best in you used car search, and again, take your business any place, but not Bob Bell. This is not the way to treat your customers. More

Bob Bell has made a 180 degree turn since my last rating. If you read my previous reviews you'll see I'm not afraid to blast a dealer when it is due. In January 2018 I was again in the market for a new truck but still a little hesitant to go back to Bob Bell but not because of the sales department, it was the dreaded service department. I, again place my trust in Joe Evans and again he didn't disappoint. Joe is now a sales manager so he introduced me to salesperson Jason Davis. As I usually do, I arrived at the dealership already knowing what I wanted and what I was going to pay. Within a few hours I was driving my new 2018 Colorado Z71 4X4 midnight edition. But the story doesn't end there. Six months have past and I was fearing taking the love of my life (my midnight edition) to the service department after my previous experience in 2015. My neighbor who is a GM retiree told me to see Service Rep Yvonne Huhn. I did make the appointment and as described, Yvonne was courteous, professional, energetic and most important to me, KNOWLEDGED in what she was doing and talking about. I know I had a few wear and tear issues after six months of owning my truck and some may need to be paid for by my out-of-pocket. I dropped it off and a free shuttle took me home. Hours later Yvonne called and said that it was a toss up that some of the items should have been paid for by me including tire balancing but out of courtesy the service department would fix it for nothing. If you read my old review and I encourage you to, you'll see I dealt with a team of service associates that truly didn't give a crap about Bob Bell and especially their customers. When I first arrived I immediately noticed a fresh new service facility and most importantly, a new team of caring employees. When I returned to retrieve my truck I again was met by Yvonne who was so friendly but waisted no time telling me what my truck needed and that Bob Bell was absorbing any cost to thank me for buying my new Colorado from them and trusting their service department again. I can't stress enough how glad I am that Bob Bell fixed those issues and finally took out its old trash. Jason Davis was awesome And Yvonne Huhn was awesome Thanks, Respectfully, Steven Goodman More

Perfection of service Bob Bell on kane street has got it right. Sales, service and knowledge. They strive for perfection and they obtain it. This was by far the best new car Bob Bell on kane street has got it right. Sales, service and knowledge. They strive for perfection and they obtain it. This was by far the best new car buying experience I have ever had. They did so many things the right way. Everyone I met or talked to was always asking if their was anything else they could do or help me with. They take their kids seriously and yet they will joke with you and put you at ease on whatever decision you make. Not one time did I see anyone put under any type of pressure tactits. I will always go back there to buy whatever I need new or used from now on. More

Upon arrival to the dealership, I was greeted by a serviceman who came to the car while I was waiting, and he greeted me to the dealership and told me that I would be serviced very soon. Within 5-10 minutes, I pulled into the service area, and I was promptly waited on by the service team. They told me everything that would be done with my car, and I felt good about getting my oil changed. I will definitely come back again to this dealership, which will be my 3rd time! More
