Great Buying Experience I had been searching for a F-150 for a few weeks and found a lot of options. After talking with many dealerships, Austin Blackwell at Bob Allen Ford w I had been searching for a F-150 for a few weeks and found a lot of options. After talking with many dealerships, Austin Blackwell at Bob Allen Ford was the most accommodating and thorough person I talked to. This is the reason I decided to purchase my 2016 F-150 from Bob Allen Ford. Along with Austin, the rest of the staff were very helpful with making sure the truck had everything I was looking for and more. Sorry folks...they failed me miserably. This was my second encounter with this dealership. Granted the first one was 20 years ago but they failed then also. Hey BAF...a few words of advice. This was my second encounter with this dealership. Granted the first one was 20 years ago but they failed then also. Hey BAF...a few words of advice. When a customer comes in looking for SPECIFIC make and models, show them THAT and not what you just want to sell. That's what you did with us. We asked for a Ford Explorer and you brought out something else entirely. At least it was still a Ford but that was the only commonality. Terribly disrespectful of our wishes. Next...when you bring out a price quote and say you don't want to drag on the negotiating process by starting to drop the price to "get you into this car TODAY!" and then the third following sentence (I kid you not) drop the price not once but twice. We were dumbfounded. That is EXACTLY what transpired. Of course we declined the offer. If you were that quick to lower the price that quickly our joint impression was then HMMM...I wonder how much lower they would go when we knew we would hear from you on Monday. (we came in on a Saturday afternoon) And lo and behold...first thing Monday morning and my phone rings from the dealership. To my surprise, it was not our sales person but the sales manager doing the follow up. Now I feel you have shown disrespect for the salesman for not having enough faith in him/her to allow them the courtesy of the follow up after they put in that much time and effort. Management MUST allow the staff perform their duty if they are ever going to improve and be a more profitable commodity to the enterprise. You shot out our poor salesman's tires. Once again, we courteously declined your offers. One more thing. It is now Monday evening at 7:30. My phone just rang again and guess who...the dealership. But this time it WAS our unfortunate salesperson. And from the sound of his starting the conversation, the sales manager had not even informed him that we declined the offer earlier that day as we found what we wanted somewhere else. I felt so sorry for him, as now in my eyes, the sales MANAGER did not even do him the service of passing on the information. Mr. Sales Manager, you sent this poor guy who only wants to have a job into a situation where his only option was to look foolish in front of the customer. Shame on you. You owe this man an apology. And don't try blowing it off as a "training experience". You failed a member of your staff. Again...shame on you. So from here, I refuse to name names as that is HIGHLY inappropriate, but I guarantee you will not see me a third time. Good luck in your business. And thank you my sales person for all your time and effort to make my car buying experience pleasant. You performed your duties admirably and I wish you the most luck of all for the future. More
I felt like I struck gold. After shopping at various dealers in the area, and about to purchase a vehicle from one in particular, I decided to stop in at Bob Allen Ford. Within minutes I was texting my girlfriend “I like these guys”. Jason Showalter was the most professional, friendly and helpful person I have ever met. He seemed to genuinely care about getting me the truck that I wanted, for the price I wanted to pay, and getting me the offer on my trade in that I was looking for. After a few minutes, his Sales Manager came by. Very genuine. Not a rushed obligatory conversation, one of welcome and conveying that sense of caring about my goals in getting my new truck. Steve in accessories and I talked about the value of Bob Allen’s attitude of making the customer happy, doing what it takes. And the finishing touch was walking through the process with Jason Hensley, the Finance Manager. The entire experience was so easy going and actually enjoyable! I will definitely buy my next vehicle at Bob Allen. Impressive to hear about their 47 year history and their commitment to the customer. This dealership and its staff truly is different! And one more thing- the price I got was amazing- it was such an incredible deal that after all of the research and negotiating I had done with other dealers, I felt like I had struck gold. Negative experience I have never had issues with the service department at this dealership until a visit this past weekend. I was told there were a few safety recall ite I have never had issues with the service department at this dealership until a visit this past weekend. I was told there were a few safety recall items on my Escape that needed to be repaired, so I scheduled an appointment. A few days before my appointment I called to report a few other issues going on with my vehicle and if they could be looked at while I was in for my appointment, one of them being my low tire pressure light was on. She asked if I could bring it in a few hours earlier to allow for extra time to look over the other issues, and I agreed I would. When I brought it in Saturday morning I felt like the associate (the same person I had spoken on the phone with a few days before) was acting rushed and not really listening to everything I was saying. I was told regarding my air conditioner that she couldn't get it to malfunction for her and they "can't fix something that's not broken", but that they would take a look. I didn't appreciate this attitude and had a bad feeling about my visit from there. I reminded her about my low tire pressure while I was speaking with her. When I returned to pick it up I asked if my tires looked okay and she said they did. We went out to check if the tire light was still coming on and it was. Another associate proceeded to fill my tires up with nitrogen. The light did go off after I left, but two days later it came back on. I took it in and they discovered I had a nail in one of my tires. This left me wondering how something like this would have been missed if the tires were really looked at and the pressure checked while it was with them on Saturday. Maybe "we can't fix something that's not broken" was the case with my AC, but there really was an issue with my tire, and it was missed. After I had reported the low pressure not once but twice, and also was cooperative and brought my car in a few hours earlier for them as requested. Luckily they agreed not to charge me for the tire repair after I had explained the situation I went through. I'm hoping my future experiences will be more positive ones. Possibly if I ask to speak with a different associate who listens. More

The options and the quality just keep getting better. Jerome Tolliver is an exceptional salesman that has helped me several times in my car looking journey. He provides information, guidance, runs the numbers, figures which vehicles match my wants and needs and yet gives me freedom and space to look on my own with no pressure. I love this dealership and how respectfully the treat single women. Tim Smith goes out of his way to make sure I feel comfortable and I am aware of all my options. I am always confident that I am getting the best deal possible and that is more than fair to both of us. More
