We are very sorry that this particular customer had to make a repair on the used truck they purchased. We want each and every customer to be happy with their vehicle, and hope that they never have to make any repairs! But from time to time things do happen with 6 year old vehicles. We stand by each and every vehicle we sell, and have for over the 10 years we've been in business. In this particular case the 4WD option worked correctly at the time of sale, and for the first 3 months the customer drove the vehicle after we sold it. The customer has an extended service contract that even covers 4WD mechanical failures. However, unfortunately in this particular case the customer had a broken front half shaft. That happens from damage to the under carriage of a truck when it has been driven aggressively off road, and that is why that particular repair was not covered by the extended service contract company. They only cover mechanical failures, not damage to vehicles. If a customer purchased a brand new truck that was under manufacturers factory warranty, this type of damage would still not be covered as well. Mechanical failures are one thing, damage to a vehicle that causes a mechanical failure is a separate issue . Thank you.
