Our Father in Law purchased this 2007 Tahoe for us and since day 1 it had some slipping issues but my wife being the one they delivered the vehicle to didn't realize it, but once i got into the rig i not since day 1 it had some slipping issues but my wife being the one they delivered the vehicle to didn't realize it, but once i got into the rig i noticed problems immediately. They kindly took it in and worked on it, returning it with more problems with the transmission. After further assessment they decided it needed a new transmission. We've owned it for two weeks and have driven this Tahoe for 3 days. Its been in their shop the rest of the time. They've taken full responsibility fixing it until it came down to replacing the bad transmission they sold us. They want us to pay 3100 to replace it which is outrageous. This is not our responsibility to fix or pay for this. They knowingly sold us this vehicle with transmission problems and withheld that information. They have violated laws under the Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP). They just don't seem to get the fact that they are the ones responsible for this and have to pay for the repairs. Come to find out, after the fact. Our friends bought a Tahoe from them and experienced the exact same problem. Bad transmission and Blade Chevrolet telling them they have to pay for it. Chris Bailey the service manager informed me that they have the best technicians and mechanics this side of the Rockies, well.....why couldn't they see that this was a bad transmission? More

My wife and I had been looking for a Chevy HHR and had visited other dealers who wanted to sell "service plans" for that transmission problem I really didn't notice while it shifted into second gear. Gene Garcia made both Liz and I feel at home during our test drive, inspection of vehilce, pointed out features and told us a little about himself. We Purchased the HHR before the end of last year and just now realized this survey was in our inbox four months later and today still believe this was a great purchase. We often drive North on I-5 and see the Blade sign and in thought wish Gene a great day. I would purchase with confidence from Gene again and have mentioned to our friends and coworkers our good experience. This is the right way to purchase at the right price from the right person who allows the customer the freedom to make the right choice. First of all, and most important, there was no high pressure sale atmosphere going on here. Roy listened to us when we told him what we were looking for in a new vehicle. Then he took us to see the vehicles meeting that criteria. He answered our questions...no question was treated as an unworthy one. We were both impressed with his knowledge. Once we settled on a potential choice, we went for a test drive. We were able to see how everything worked. Then we talked some more. We needed to take the measurements of the vehicle, plus we needed to visit the canopy dealer to see what the overall height would be. So we came back the next day...Roy had called us that morning with mirror information. We decided to purchase the vehicle. Long story short, organized sequence of paperwork and purchase complete. Roy brought the vehicle around after it had been through finishing details, then we all got in the truck to review procedures and set up phone services, etc. Roy said we could call him with any questions that we might have. This is the first time we have come home after making a major purchase that we had no qualms about whether or not we had made the right choice. More
After losing my job in Illinois on Nov 2, 2011 i found myself unemployed and unable to find work in Illinois. Finally in August of 2012 my daughter suggested I move back to Washington as the job market se myself unemployed and unable to find work in Illinois. Finally in August of 2012 my daughter suggested I move back to Washington as the job market seemed somewhat better. Like 24 million other americans, I found myself unemployed, broke and nearly homeless. Needless to say in that year I lost everything and my financial status plummeted severely, so with no other options, I filed for bankruptcy in Dec 2012. I had no vehicle from Nov 2012 until Bjorn contacted me. Bjor was upfront, honest and worked hard to get me a car I could live with, and financing I could afford. Even then, the prospect of me gettin a vehicle seemed bleek at best. Bjorn tried everything and finally said he couldn't help me. With that I went to another Dealer and was "approved" fo a vehicle. the day I bought this other vehicle Bjorn called and said he got me approved......I had to tell him I had purchased the other vehicle. 6 days later, the dealer I purchased from called and said they were unable to get me financed, and I had to return the car. GOD was looking out for me and this was meant to be. I immediately called Bjorn back, he had an approved loan that I could afford, and today I was deleivered a much nicer vehicle, and I could not be more pleased. Bjorn worked it and worked, never gave up on me and came through like a true pro. If you are in a bankruptcy, have been unemployed but now working, call Bjorn at Blade Chevrolet in Mt. Vernon. They will treat you right. Stay away from those sleazy S Tacoma Way dealers particularly if they sell KIA (HINT) you will be glad for your decision. Thanks Bjorn! More
