My lease is coming due on my Fusion which I got from Bill Brown Ford so I went to the dealership yesterday to explore my options. This place is a joke. They did warranty work that involved replacing parts that they knew wouldn't fix my problem, collected the warranty dollars from Ford, and then told me to come pick up my still involved replacing parts that they knew wouldn't fix my problem, collected the warranty dollars from Ford, and then told me to come pick up my still malfunctioning car. Now they are refusing to do the work that WILL fix my car, even if I pay for it out of my own pocket. They don't want my money because I was 'very disruptive' and I was late returning their 'loaner'... which is actually a rental paid for by my Ford Extended Service Plan. (Good thing I bought that ESP, too... my car spends a lot of time in the shop not getting fixed.) My Regional Customer Service Manager at Ford corporate told me that the rental car would be covered for the week. But still, service manager Brian Mooney focused on the fact that I kept his 'loaner' after they failed to fix my car (while I waited to hear from my CSM, who took three days to call me back). And then he told me that my money is no good and that he doesn't want my business now. Anyways, don't go to Blackwell Ford unless you like having your time wasted, your sanity questioned, and your car not fixed. More
I went to Blackwell Ford today because I got something in the mail from them a couple weeks ago and I called them up and talked to the guy I mentioned, well he said that he would help me and I was very pleas the mail from them a couple weeks ago and I called them up and talked to the guy I mentioned, well he said that he would help me and I was very pleased with this. So I told him about how many miles I was over on my lease and how my credit was and that I could get a co-signer no problem. So we put an online application in and it got approved, Okay. Great! Right? No. So wrong. He gave me a price for what it would be without stuff rolling into it and I said okay well roll this and this onto it and it came out to be and okay price and they approved that price, so he gets a hold of me today to tell me to get on the x plan and that my Car would be ready at 130-2 and to just bring my car to trade it in, so I was really excited because no one wanted to help me at all on this. So I went there with my co-signer like he told me to do so, mind you he comes out and grabs my license plate and my registration and then he checks my miles when I told them what they were before the geico. So that got under my skin a little bit, so we go inside and he goes wow since your way over these are going to have to be rolled into this payment and I go no I told you about these miles and we got into it with him about it so he called Ford Credit and they go well we can just bill her for her over milage which was totally fine. He goes back and talks to his manager or whoever she is and he comes back and goes it's a Open to close deal basically I would half to fork up the money for all my over milage or give them half when I told him i didn't have it. So we were still sitting there waiting and he kept walking to other customers talking to them and completely ignoring us and when he finally looked at us he went in to see what was going on and she told him that Ford Credit now denied me, and this is because he made my payments jump to over 500.00. When he told me to come in at 130-2pm and grab my new car and that he would have paper work filled out, which he had nothing ready. I will NEVER come back to this place, it was not worth my time. I hope someone from this place reads all of these because this place is beyond terrible. & by the way I went to another dealership and they took care of me just fine. I will NEVER tell anyone to go here, EVER. What a shame. More
My vehicle has Ford's top of the line extended warranty that cost me thousands of dollars. I dropped the car off to have them check out a check engine light. They called to tell me that the light was not that cost me thousands of dollars. I dropped the car off to have them check out a check engine light. When I went to pick up the car they charged me $98 for the work...which was to inspect the dash panel and determine that the engine light was not lit. More
Andrea was great to work with. She was very patient and answered all of my questions. She didn't pressure me at all, which is one reason why I decided to go with Blackwell. This place is a joke, Stay far away. I purchased a certified used Ford Escape. First day I got it I plugged my cell phone in to charge but outlet did not work. For some reason everytime I go to service department I get the woman and she looks clueless on what is going on in life. Said vehicle would be done later in afternoon for recall service. About 10 days later I finally got my car back. Didnt even offer me a loaner, I had to ask and wanted to charge me 50 dollars a day. Needless to say my car has never ran the same since being serviced. I can honestly say I will never buy a Ford again and if I ever do I will never step near Blackwell Ford in Plymouth MI. Worst customer service in the world. If anyone from Blackwell ever reads this, Share with your employees that it doesn't take much to go a little out of your way to help someone! More
Took car in to have rattle looked at along with fluid change. Richard called to tell me that the rattle was a exhaust issue and would be cheaper to fix at outside muffler shop. great info and nice to kno change. I went for a oil change,tire rotation and brake check combo. While I had it in I wanted them to check the battery they installed previously for the built up around the terminals that has been occurring combo. He explain that it was a maintenance free battery and it doesn't happen much so they don't do that. As far as I know that means you don't have to add water anymore,they do have product you can spray on or rub on, a five minute job. I also ask him if a techician could listen to my window on the driver side go up and down to give me an idea what could be going on. Oh no that will take too long we would have to disassemble the door to do that, what a bunch of crap, I was looking for some possibilities. I GUESS WHEN TIMES ARE GOOD YOU CAN PUSH YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS AWAY. Glen Sdao is my sales person he has always treated us good, it is hard to buy your car at one dealer and get it fixed at another. More
Took our newly purchased 2008 Explorer in for some warranty work prior to 3yr 36 expiring and Blackwell did a great job! We did not buy the vehicle from them but they treated us like we did. Excellent work done and in a timely manner. We will continue to use them for service when required and will consider them for our next purchase as well. More
