Dave the write up guy was very good. He kept me informed about my concerns. Nice to deal with. My only complaint would be taking 3 hours to take care of a slow leak in one tire. The service department did not communicate prior to my appointment that engine service was running three days. I was called with no details and asked to return the call. My fault code information I entered online was not received by the department and I wasted my time by taking time off work. It was not an option to leave my car with them for three days. I was told to let the service department manager know. There was no one in his office. I would advise to call them and not waste time booking online. Inquire about details prior to your visit. More

They kept my vehicle for almost a month and done nothing to it. I had to have it towed to another mechanic today. Then they charged me 145.00 for an hour of work. Not cool. Such a shame what customer service has come to anymore. We’ve had many issues with our Taurus and have come to Blackwell the past couple times. There were a few bumps with their service here and there but We’ve had many issues with our Taurus and have come to Blackwell the past couple times. There were a few bumps with their service here and there but nothing too serious or things that they didn’t right us on. This past time I was working with their service tech Earl and should have known what kind of experience was in store based off of his less than welcoming attitude to check me in and hear the issues I was having. The next day when he called with a diagnosis, he tried to tell us we needed to pay $1200 for something that should have been covered under warranty. When my husband questioned it he had the audacity to tell my husband he “seemed high strung bro” and that he needed to chill out. At that point we asked them to put our car back together so we could come pick it up because we will never do business there again. Upsetting because it is our local ford dealer but we will most definitely drive far out of our way going forward to receive any service needed so we do not have to deal with being talked to the way they allow their employees to speak to people. Funny how after this conversation was escalated it was discovered this would actually be covered under warranty and we would only have to pay our warranty deductible. More
