Good choice of cars but I purchased a Mercedes from Essence on 12/16/2017. Since it was past closing time when the paperwork was finished and the car was prepped to take bac I purchased a Mercedes from Essence on 12/16/2017. Since it was past closing time when the paperwork was finished and the car was prepped to take back home to Oklahoma City, I was told that I would receive the owner's manual along with some kind of theft deterrent paperwork in the mail. (Originally, I tried to negotiate the theft deterrent device off of the deal but Rami, who needs to be retrained in customer service, refused to drop the price of the car and instead included it for nothing.) Since it was included in the final deal, I would like to have it along with the owner's manual that I should have received at the time of the sale. I would consider buying future vehicles from Essence but will not deal with Rami. Both Adam in sales, and Ben in finance were very cordial and polite. In my opinion, Rami was bitter about me doing more than adequate research on the cars he had on the lot. Prices had been dropped multiple times over a 1-2 month period. I asked to purchase the car at a lower price than advertised knowing that it would be dropped again in about 2 weeks anyway. As a salesman myself, I would have treated the customer with respect even if the price would not be decreased that day. Instead, Rami acted very childish and upset. I purchased the car that night because it was a good deal and a very nice car. Plus, it was a Christmas present for my daughter and I didn't have time to drive back to Dallas before the holiday. But, if I would have actually lived in the DFW area, I would have walked out and come back at a later time. Long story short...Please mail the owner's manual and the theft deterrent paperwork ASAP. After all, it has been 3 months since the purchase. More
