Brand loyalty I'm writing this not so much to discredit the agent that I was dealing with as to comment on the importance of supporting brand loyalty. I moved to N I'm writing this not so much to discredit the agent that I was dealing with as to comment on the importance of supporting brand loyalty. I moved to NJ two years ago and currently live in Plainfield. Basically equidistant between Springfield Acura and Bridgewater Acura. I has so far only use Springfield because I pass them frequently on my way to NY. In this particular instance I had a predicament and needed help and Bridgewater was the closest option so I turned to them. I was trying to purchase new tires at Costco on Rt 22 and was unable to find the wheel lock key so they could not remove my tires. I called Bridgewater Acura to see if they could remove the wheel locks for me so that I could complete my new tire purchase at Costco. I ended up speaking with Mike Belmont. Once I explained my situation to him he quickly informed me that he would not be able to help me because the dealership would be liable if they let me drive away without a complete set of lug nuts. I thought this was a ludicrous conclusion. I had never implied in any way that I was asking them to remove the nuts without replacing them. It was clear that he had said his peace and was ready to terminate the conversation. I suggested that I purchase a new set of lug nuts and he said that I would need to speak to the parts department and was about to transfer me. I asked if after speaking to the parts department I would then have to call him back to schedule to have the work done since this was something that I was trying to deal with immediately and was only a few miles down the road. He seems annoyed and then called the parts department and got back to me with a quote of $50 for new lug nuts. I said fine but then asked how much new wheel locks would be since I thought $50 was kind of high and at that point I may as well purchase new locks. He then checked with parts again (again being annoyed "you didn't say you wanted locks I didn't ask about that") So then he quoted me $80 for the locks and I said I would come in. When I arrived I want to the parts department and spoke with a very friendly and helpful gentlemen who completely understood my position and recommended that I simply purchase the 4 lug nuts that I needed and promptly sold me exactly what I needed. He had me meet him in the repair bay which is when I first met Mr. Belmonte. The gentleman from the parts department asked on of the repair men to simply remove my wheel locks and replace them with the new lug nuts. The repair man seemed a little miffed that there wasn't going to be work order written up but after a few encouraging words from the parts guy proceeded to do what was asked of him. As luck would have it two of the wheel locks were stripped and he couldn't get them off. So Mike Belmonte says "we have to write up a work order" I asked what he meant. He said "we have to write up a work order" I said OK but how much is this going to cost me and he said "well this is what I thought we were doing in the first place but then you came in with your own lug nuts. (I didn't bother explaining that I had just PURCHASED the lug nuts from the dealership) He informed me that it would be $25 to remove the 2 remaining wheel locks and replace them with the lug nuts that I had purchased and we proceeded to his desk where he wrote up the order. I should mention that all of this transpired with an absolute minimum of eye contact on his part and I genuinely felt that i was just an annoyance in his day. Now on a brighter note the customer facilities at your dealership far outshine those of Springfield Acura. The lounge(s) are beautiful. The spread of food and drinks is impressive and its a great place to hang out and get work down while you wait which is just what I did. When the car was done I was standing with Mr. Belmonte at the register and i asked about how to find a turn around on 22 so that I could get back to Costco and get my tires. The cashier was delightful and at that point Belmonte chimed in about how I should go about it and it was the most genuine, casual and natural conversation we had the entire time. I walked away thinking "where was that guy when this all started". Again my point is not to trash Mr. Belmonte but rather to bring light to the fact that dealer loyalty is what its all about. I chose to come to Acura to help me. I could have gone to Mieneke or an number of other places that would have had a universal key for my locks and remedied the situation but since my other car is a Lexus and they have ALWAYS given exemplary service in times of need I kinda thought that I would receive the same warm and helpful reception at Acura. I did not and because of that even though as I mentioned your dealership is a nicer facility I would rather have my car serviced at a dealership where I feel welcomed and taken care of. That's all I wanted to impart. I hope that in the future others have a more over all pleasant experience than I did. I was just wheel locks for heavens sake not a bum transmission. More
the worst buying/service experience ever Here is the abridged version: I bought a used bmw from Bill Vince's acura and it was the most difficult experience I've ever had. From repeated paperw Here is the abridged version: I bought a used bmw from Bill Vince's acura and it was the most difficult experience I've ever had. From repeated paperwork mix ups to my plates not coming in on time and Temps expiring, the not returning of voicemail or messages, or the, "I'll find out and get back to you" but never did till I would call back in a few days to check myself and they still would not know. Brought it in for some agreed apon repairs and warranty work which kept me in a loaner car for over 3 weeks, the repair/service process was unprofessional, unorganized, and downright rude at points. After all that time, the things they fixed or were supposed to fix are still broken. I'm not sure if anything went smoothly after the day I bought the car. Not what I expected from a higher end dealership. Last straw, I had left a personal item in the loaner car, as I was driving home I realized I had left it in the loaner car, I called immediately and the service receptionist said no problem it will be waiting at the service counter. I don't know if she ever looked or someone stole it but it's not there and they couldn't care less. There's more but you get the point. Bill Vince, feel free to contact me More

POOR SERVICE and Dishonesty Purchased a brand new MDX from this dealer. Had in for regular service and couple warranty items. I was lied to repeatly and had none of my issues fix Purchased a brand new MDX from this dealer. Had in for regular service and couple warranty items. I was lied to repeatly and had none of my issues fixed. Addressed problems with service manager and general manager and was just given excuses. They had my vehicle 3 seperate times and were unable to fix the most basic of issues. Service reciepts were inaccurate and didn't match up with the excuses I was given verbally by management. I contatced Acura service and they were just as bad. Overall if your looking to buy from this dealer or even an Acura in general I would advise you against it. Very poorly run company! More

It was very easy to get along with everyone, they were very pleasant in a "non-pushy" way. Not what you would expect from a normal dealership. They're awesome! Finance was extremely professional, not pushy and exceeded my expectations by working to get me to my desired monthly payment! He went over all my options in a clear precise manner. Highly recommended Acura Sales Representative I had done a great deal of research regarding pricing, accessories and financing for a 2014 or 2015 Acura MDX with the Technology package. We had been I had done a great deal of research regarding pricing, accessories and financing for a 2014 or 2015 Acura MDX with the Technology package. We had been contacted by a number of dealerships and have quotes before visiting Bridgewater Acura. We arrived at the dealership and met Kristine our Internet contact who in turn connected me with our sales representative Michael Boltarets. Mr. Boltarets had a very professional, non-salesman demeanor. He clearly explained the cars and packages available so we can quickly narrow down our selection. We had discussed pricing but were not yet ready to commit. There was no heavy handed "you have to sign today to get the best price". Later that week we were leaving for vacation so we were not yet ready to commit until after we returned. During our vacation, we reached out to Michael to get various answers questions. He replied quickly and accurately. We then progressed to negotiate a price both for the car and accessories that met our budget. He worked with us to get the price we needed to seal the deal. Upon pickup, the transaction closed very smoothly with all financing arranged and accessories installed. There were no surprises in the numbers and everything closed as expected. Michael provided an overview of the basic functionality of the car and is planning a more detailed review with my wife later in the week. We highly recommend Michael Boltarets. The perception of the car industry would be more positive if there were more people like Michael representing dealerships around the country. More
