Purchased a new MDX from Bill Vince's. It's our fifth Acura and our first experience with this dealership. I had read questionable reviews, but also had a personal relationship with the GM, who I had wo Acura and our first experience with this dealership. I had read questionable reviews, but also had a personal relationship with the GM, who I had worked with at another dealership in the past. The negotiations went ok, but make sure you do your homework on trade in values. The car was not programmed correctly or at all, by our sales guy. He told us the car would be too complicated if we added more than one phone for bluetooth. Later we found this to be false. The latch on the back of a rear seat was broken and missed. Our GPS didn't work and our internal lights worked intermittently. We took it back to Bill Vince's and they fixed the latch, but gave it back to us with the same problems with the GPS. The driver side door was out of alignement and they fixed that as well. We had asked them to program the car to what we wanted, but they didn't tell us they needed our separate pair of keys to properly program. Thus, we needed another call with one of their service folks to program it correctly. We live about two hours from the dealership, which precludes easy service access. Every call we had with them, it was sales blaming service and service blaming sales. I really didn't care who's challenge it was, I just wanted the car fixed. We ended up bringing in the car a second time. To John's credit, he was willing to drive to the Freehold mall to meet us in the middle. He lives in the area, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. This time they replaced the GPS as they found it to be faulty and they replaced the lights as they found them to be faulty as well. My question is, why wasn't this found the first time? Now it's the plates. Instead of giving us a new registration on the car, they transferred the old registration. I can only guess this was to try and fool us on the price out the door, as it saves a few hundred dollars. They told us they were sending us the plates. We waited and when it arrived, the envelope only had a red registration card. No plates. So we called DMV and asked the question. They said it could take a coule of months for new plates. So we waited some more. When they didn't arrive, we called DMV again. They looked into it and found that it was a transfer instead of a new registration. We called the dealership, and they said to look in the rear compartment. We did that, but no plates. They said, well our sales guy said that's where he put them. Yah, same sales guy who on our test drive told us how great Infinti was and how he wasn't crazy about Acura. Terrific credibility. My last email has gone unresponded to, b/c frankly, I think they know they have no good excuse for the myriad of problems. My Wife and I are now on our way to DMV to pay for lost plates. It's only 6 bucks, but the hassle of going to DMV, the wasted time....it could have all been avoided. I love Acura and the cars they build are phenomenal. However, Bill Vince's Acura is the worst dealership I've ever worked with, regardless of make. I've worked with Ocean, Princeton and Turnersville in NJ and all of them were night and day better than BV's. Please, do yourself a favor and read thru the other reviews. I did and really questioned doing business with BV, but since I had the relationship with the GM, still decided to go there. What a mistake. 12/15-Just an update. Once the GM for this dealership read my review, he decided to call my Wife and I. He screamed, yelled, mocked, threatened etc. Far and away the most unprofessional communication from a dealer ever. I tried going thru the Client Services dept, but couldn't get far, so now I'm working with the Presidential office in Torrance. It seems that when a dealership decides to abuse their customers, there's really not much Acura/Honda can do about it. The contract is between you and the dealer. Be warned, do business with reputable dealers...there's plenty of Acura dealers in NJ have treated us much better. More

I got a very good deal on a nice car there. It had a paint defect for which they refused to bring down the price but they worked the numbers is different ways to still help me save. The dealing process paint defect for which they refused to bring down the price but they worked the numbers is different ways to still help me save. The dealing process is annoying for sure but expected at a dealership and they made it worth the effort. I love the warranty that comes with my car and they were also very helpful when I ran into a snag with registering my vehicle in another state. I also thought their financing options were fantastic, I got a much better interest rate than I could have ever hoped for More
I went to this dealer with my wife sales person Toni D showed us several used RDX we finally liked a silver 2008RDX which he told me was a fullyloaded. Asking price was $28,995 I went home and saw the sam showed us several used RDX we finally liked a silver 2008RDX which he told me was a fullyloaded. Asking price was $28,995 I went home and saw the same exact SUV for $25,995. I called the dealer and spoke to Tina in internet department and she confirm that it was indeed the same SUV. I went back to the dealer to make the deal based on the price i saw on internet. we agreed on $24,000 gave the sale man Toni D my credit card and DL to put the deposite on the car. during that time i went to take a look at the car again and i notice there was no backup camera so i asked Toni he said "it's such a small thing you are not going to make fuss about it". so i asked about the Navigation system he once again said the samething. First he lied about the price second he lied about the options they are professional liars. I would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. already told my friends and family about my such horrible exprince at this dealer. I have purchased a certified 2008MDX from Elite Acura and loved their customer service. I would surly recommend Elite Acura. More
Let us start out by saying that we have purchased/leased three(3) vehicles from Bridgewater Acura. From the moment you walk into the dealership you can not help but notice how clean the dealership is,how fr three(3) vehicles from Bridgewater Acura. From the moment you walk into the dealership you can not help but notice how clean the dealership is,how friendly and curteous the staff is, and how neat, professional and knowledgeable the staff are. We can truely say that from our first purchase at the dealership we were treated like family and that family feeling strenghtens with each visit to the dealership. Most knowledgable car buyers usually internet shop a vehicle so as to have information on pricicing prior to visiting a dealership. As far as pricing goes the dealership is very fair and competitive with all internet pricing. Bridgeawater Acura has beat any and all internet pricing on comparable vehicles that we have purchased, and are always true to their word as opposed to other Acura dealerships that we have had the opportunity to experience. This feeling of family while purchasing a vehicle did not end after the initial purchase. Stop in for routine maintenance and the staff goes out of their way to greet you, from the General Manager all the way to the Sales Associate. We would like to thank Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura for making our 2010 Acura MDX tech/ent purchase another pleasurable experience. More

From the very first phone call to the final handshake at the end of the deal, "Sasha" was very friendly and courteous, knowledgeable, eager to please, accomodating, and very clear that he was grateful for o the end of the deal, "Sasha" was very friendly and courteous, knowledgeable, eager to please, accomodating, and very clear that he was grateful for our business. I appreciate his directness in saying, several times, "we want your business." He said it and he meant it -- even though we were "only" shopping for a used car. On top of all that, he was a lot of fun to deal with, and he did his very best to help us to (almost!) enjoy the painful process of finding a car for our 17-year-old son! Sasha is a true asset to Bridgewater Acura, and we will look to do business with him again in the future... More
I recently decided to make the trip to Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura, coming from Newport, RI, because they had the best price advertised for a certified pre-owned RDX we were interested in. After le Bridgewater Acura, coming from Newport, RI, because they had the best price advertised for a certified pre-owned RDX we were interested in. After lengthy research and haggleing with many dealers, I called in the morning on the day I was planning to drive down and pick the vehicle up. This may be the reason for the experience I had, which started out with a sinking feeling in my stomach, but ended up with that warm fuzzy feeling you look for when buying a new (new to us) car. We planned to get there early, but it ended up being dark upon arrival, which did not make for a great look at the exterior. We did notice a stripe that had been added, that we were not fond of and was not in the pictures online. After the sale with Paul Batista, whom is a very polite and pleasant salesman to have worked with, and paperwork was done, which went smoothly as my wife was clear on what we wanted (in terms of warranty and the such), we started to drive the car off the lot. In the headlights of the vehicle we drove down we saw a mismatched panel on the lower portion of the door and some exterior scratching, which gave us the sinking stomach feeling. In the following days, we also noticed that the right side mirror blinker was not working and the windshield wipers were shot. Granted, we gave this dealer about 8 hrs notice that we would be picking the car up that night, so they may not have had adequate time to prepare it, but we thought these things should have been taken care of before the sale, and should certainly be taken care of now. This is where the warm and fuzzy takes over. Upon calling my salesman, Paul Batista, back, he put me in touch with his sales manager, Mike Lasko, who was VERY accomodating in taking care of every concern that was raised, right down to the stripe on the side of the vehicle. He sent us the mismatched panel within 3 days, a check for an exterior detail and panel installation, which removed the stripe and the scratches on the exterior, and a check for the windshield wipers to be replaced as quoted by our local Acura dealer during inspection. The blinker was covered under warranty. So, overall, my wife and I believe that the preparation prior to picking the vehicle up could have been better, which is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 on the overall experience, but as far as mitigating the problems and concerns that arose, we could not have asked for better or more courteous service, and will definately look at Bill Vince's first to start our research the next time we are buying a car.
